Fans believe Sister Wives star Robyn Brown is using religion to conceal her belief that Christine Brown won’t be separated from Kody Brown until she gets intimate with another man. The family struggles after Christine and Kody ended their 25-year marriage in November 2021.
Since the family hasn’t been particularly spiritual in recent years, viewers of Sister Wives don’t believe Robyn when she says they need permission from their church to divorce. When she made the bold statement about Christine’s status as a divorcee, Kody’s favorite wife went even further than she had.
Robyn Brown Believes Christine Is Still Kody’s Wife Until She Gets Involved With Another Man
During a tense conversation, Robyn lashed out at Christine, saying that the mother of six had nullified the other wives’ spiritual marriages with Kody. Robyn then strikes a surprise by pointing out that Christine is still married to Kody until she has sex with another man. Thankfully, the newly self-sufficient Christine does not conform to Robyn’s interpretation of events; in her mind, the divorce was finalized on the day she decided to separate from the patriarch.
Because of the beliefs held by her family, Christine is no longer a member of the Mormon Fundamentalist faith. These beliefs have led her to feel disillusioned. Viewers of Sister Wives are well aware that Christine and Kody were never officially married, so there was no requirement for any legal divorce proceedings to take place. Even though Robyn and Meri Brown may secretly want Christine to remain Kody’s third wife, the fact is that Christine will not be prevented from leaving him because of their weird views.
Viewers discovered that Christine was 21 when she tied the knot with Kody. The reality star was unable to move forward with her life because of the weight placed on her by her partner’s selfishness, even though she was initially head over heels in love with him.
Since many other Mormon wives who participate in polygamy feel as though they are trapped in their relationships with their husbands, Christine made a prudent decision when she realized that she is not bound to Kody by any legal agreement. Fans are upset with Robyn because she has criticized Christine, especially considering her reasons unfounded.
From the very beginning of the show, Robyn has been viewed as a villain by viewers of Sister Wives because she has done nothing but cause chaos inside the large polygamous household. The newly released season is illuminating how Kody has been coping with the change, and it hasn’t been going particularly well thus far. Fans of Sister Wives have seen the patriarch become hostile to Christine and lie to her about the custody arrangement for their children.
The notion that Kody thought it was acceptable to fabricate legal facts to intimidate his ex-wife was shocking to the audience. It was even more frustrating to see Robyn supporting his decisions. Robyn might be under the impression that Christine is still married, but the popular character isn’t wasting any time worrying about the two. She has already relocated to Utah in search of better opportunities there.
