We’re just a few weeks away from the annual Royal Rumble in WWE. This year, WWE has been upfront with many of the entrants that will be in the women’s match. Instead of surprising fans with the likes of Impact Knockouts Champion Mickie James, Lita, or The Bella Twins – WWE announced them ahead of time. This was a surprise to many fans – and the talents themselves.
The Bella Twins Are Glad That Their Fans Will Know And Be Ready For The Royal Rumble
While speaking on their podcast, The Bella Twins – Nikki & Brie Bella would discuss how WWE didn’t save this as a surprise, and how it might be a good thing.
“Can you believe they announced it?! So everyone, if you don’t know, you’re gonna know now. Brie and I are officially entering the 2022 Women’s Royal Rumble. It’s gonna be at the end of the month, Saturday, from St. Louis stadium, which how amazing where The Rams used to play. We’re gonna go in there and kick some butt! One, I was shocked they announced it because usually, these are surprises, but I understand marketing-wise,” said Nikki Bella.
“So, business-wise it makes sense, right? Because now we’re gonna have the whole Bella Army there!” Brie Bella responded.
Nikki replied, “Selfishly, that’s why I was so happy about it because no one would have expected you and me to be in the Royal Rumble, and so it makes me very sure that The Bella Army knows, so they can go.”
Legends Have A Lower Chance Of Winning The Rumble
Right now, it’s not expected that any of the legends who are entering the match will walk away with the Wrestlemania title shot. Lita has expressed some interest in a longer run, which gives her a chance – but the likes of The Bella Twins are just in the field to give fans some extra excitement.
After her neck troubles, most never expected Nikki Bella to wrestle again, but a battle royal is a safe place for all – provided Nikki can stick around safe workers.
