Jordan Huie of the Overtimer here and we have another episode of Monday Night Raw on tap here tonight! I’ll be here as always to give you the live recap and results from the show as they come! And tonight, we’re seeing another step in the war between Rusev and Bobby Lashley – and Rusev’s ex, Lana!
This is the second Raw of the year, and for the most part, we’re all still reeling from that Lana/Lashley wedding for better or worse… but that’s far from the only thing on tap. We have another appearance from Brock Lesnar being advertised, where we’ll hopefully get some clarification on what it really means for him to be #1 in this year’s men’s Royal Rumble match! And that’s in addition to an inordinate amount of matches announced in advance for tonight! So let’s take a look at them, one by one, whilst we still have the time! Raw is actually ongoing already but there’s still more to cover so let’s get to it!
Rusev w/ Liv Morgan vs. Bobby Lashley w/ Lana
During the wedding between Lana and Bobby Lashley, they experienced several interruptions. Most notably, Liv Morgan came out to reveal that she and Lana had evidently been in some kind of relationship. Rusev then popped out of a cake and Lana got kinda smeared against that cake a little bit.
This feud has been dominating Raw for quite some time for better or… yeah mostly for worse. So they’ll be facing off again here tonight and I don’t think any of us would even be shocked if it headlined. Liv Morgan was interviewed last week and made it pretty obvious that she’ll be in Rusev’s corner here tonight, to even up the playing field and negate Lana. Lashley defeated Rusev in a tables match in their first encounter, so the law of 50-50 dictates that Liv aids Rusev to a victory.
