NXT UK Takeover Blackpool II has just concluded, and what an incredible night of action it was! I’m Jordan Huie of the Overtimer and I’ve been here with you all… uh, afternoon actually, to give you all the results! We have now borne witness to the main event… where the incomparable WWE United Kingdom Champion Walter defended his title against Joe Coffey!
This was a match a year in the making, as the champ debuted by attacking Coffey after what was otherwise a star making performance for him. Walter really stole his thunder and in some ways, Coffey had never quite recovered from that. Coffey spoke on how much it had haunted him in the year since. There’s a real meta tinge to this, considering the Imperium leader’s signing undoubtedly led to Coffey taking a backseat, starting with that very night.

Exchange of blows, Coffey wins out and blocks a chop, furious heymaker nailed!! Pummels Walter into the corner to an ovation!! Low kick to the bad knee, another vicious leg kick, Walter up top! Frog Splash!! NEARFALL!
Crowd is actually singing the tune of Ironman here for the Iron King! Walter hooks Coffey for a powerbomb! Coffey blocks, escapes, big elbow, All’s Best For The Bells for a nearfall! Goes for another but Walter ducks, into the Sleeper! Chant for Joe! Walter turns it into a full on one now! Takes him to his feet, brutal kick to the back of the head, vicious forearm and the sleeper is right back in! Joe grabs the top rope, Walter chops the hand away, Sleeper Suplex! Powerbomb, rolls him through, gruesome chop the back and another powerbomb! Crossface locked in now! And he has to tap!
Winner: Walter
