The situation with Jordan Myles (fka ACH) and WWE has been a bizarre one. He signed his contract earlier this year, won the NXT Breakout Tournament, had an NXT Championship match against Adam Cole; then vanished.
This was due to a dispute involving his first NXT T-Shirt, which Myles viewed as racist. It was a crazy situation in its own right, and today in a brief but powerful message, Myles announced as of today he is quitting WWE.
The Statement
“As of today, I would like to officially announce that I quit WWE. I am no longer an employee, I refuse to work for racists. I quit. I hate that company and everything they stand for. All they ever did was hold our people back. I do this for the culture, I don’t need anyones permission to whatever I want to do. Screw Jordan Myles, don’t ever call me by that slave name. Call me ACH and don’t forget the Super. I quit.”

It should be noted he chose the name Jordan Myles, a combination of Micheal Jordan and Miles Morales (Spiderman).
Needless to say, he is absolutely not happy with WWE over the situation, and we shouldn’t be expecting to see him perform for the company going forward. What is up for debate is if they will grant him the release from his contract, its been well proven you can’t just say you want to leave WWE. They could have him ride out whatever remains on his contract before he is allowed to leave.
Where Will ACH Go?
This is a weird one. Ring Of Honor will not want him back, as during this series of events he dubbed Jay Lethal an “Uncle Tom”. Jay Lethal is also very close friends with The Young Bucks who carry a heavy role in All Elite Wrestling.
Impact Wrestling is a possibility, they don’t mind taking someone but these events might make ACH someone undesirable as an employee for any company. He could be viewed as too much of a loose cannon to do business with after everything that unfolded.
This entire situation is one of the craziest situations to happen in 2019, and who knows if this is the end. If WWE doesn’t grant him his release, he won’t be quiet about this. We here at The Overtimer will do our best to keep you up to date on this situation.
