Tonight on WWE SmackDown, Bayley and Sasha Banks came out to run down their team’s failings at WWE Survivor Series this past weekend. Among those teammates was Lacey Evans, who the WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley made special point to mock. Lacey Evans then emerged to square off with them.
That confrontation didn’t go so well for the heels.
Lacey Evans ended up laying out Sasha Banks with a Woman’s Right, and Bayley could only look on in dismay as she made her leave, triumphant.

Lacey says she’s spent the whole night making Thanksgiving dinner for 32 people and is in no mood for them tonight. Says she wouldn’t trust these two nasties to lead a chicken dance at a garden party. If all they’re going to do is make excuses and blame everyone but themselves for their failures, then it’s time the SmackDown women’s division gets a real woman to lead the division. Amazingly, a “Lacey Evans” chant. They should think about coming to Birmingham every week. Mocks Bayley for tapping out under pressure, chant of “You Tapped Out” immediately. Sasha gets in Lacey’s face and eats a Woman’s Right! Bayley just watched, concerned but unmoving until Lacey makes her leave.
Given this turn of events, it seems likely that Lacey Evans is next in line to challenge for Bayley’s WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship.
Before then though, she’ll likely have a singles match with Sasha Banks in her future. And I imagine the two will be teaming against her as well. The likes of Dana Brooke and Carmella – who the pair also took the time to mock in their promo – are likely teammates for Lacey Evans in the coming weeks.
Tables, Ladders and Chairs 2019 is up in a little over two weeks and currently has no matches announced. We need to start seeing the card for that show form in a hurry.
