Wednesday means wrestling! Jordan Huie of the Overtimer here gearing up for another episode of AEW Dynamite coming up soon! It’s about an hour away from air time as I type this and I better get going on this preview because they’ve been kind enough to give me a whole lot of advertised segments to talk about, matches and promos alike! Eight, by my count! To go from Raw and SmackDown barely giving me two every week to knowing eight things that will definitely be on Dynamite tonight, it’s pretty crazy honestly.
Cody isn’t the only Rhodes who’s set to reveal what’s on their minds tonight.
After weeks of assaults and mystery, we finally hear from Brandi Rhodes.
With her heavy Awesome Kong no doubt in tow, Brandi Rhodes is set to explain herself tonight and she has much explaining to do. After a month or so of absence, Brandi re-emerged with a dark, twisted makeover in a series of creepy vignettes. And during the Buy-In show at Full Gear, Brandi and Kong finally returned – to claim the hair of Bea Priestley! Since then, we’ve seen time and again on both Dynamite and Dark, Brandi holding a victim down as Kong clips off a lock of hair to add to her collection.
This is seen as a trophy of sorts by many. Others, looking at their gothic look and dire demeanor, wonder if it might not be part of some sort of ritual, as they seem intent to put a hex on the entire division. Whatever the symbolism behind taking the hair of the fallen might be or what their motivations are, the question will remain: who is going to step up and put a stop to their reign of terror? Somebody has to do it, before they scalp the entire roster!
