Saraya has been AEW Women’s World Champion since winning the belt at the companies UK debut – but tonight, will be tested by a former two time champion in Hikaru Shida.

Shida would walk into All In as the champion, only to lose the belt after Saraya pinned Toni Storm in a Fatal Four match. Tonight, Shida has a chance to become a three time AEW Women’s World Champion.

Hikaru Shida Once Again Defies The Odds To Become AEW Women’s World Champion For Third Time

Saraya would quickly drive Shida into the corner for some strikes, before being battered with a flurry of forearm strikes. Shida would hit the jumping knee strike, sending Saraya to the floor.

Back into the ring, Saraya would look to show her physicality – getting some forearm smashes in before being lifted into a Torture Rack – Shida showing off her power.

Saraya’s ally Ruby Soho would try to get a sneak attack on Shida with the green spray paint, but was thwarted. Toni Storm would help to attack her former friend, running Soho off into the crowd – ensuring this title match remains a one on one affair. Saraya would drive Shida into the barricade, before taking a moment to pose on the apron.

Shida would take a series of rapid fire knee strikes to the face, before Saraya would simply punch her in the jaw. Trying to fire back, Shida would throw a series of forearm smashes, before ducking a lariat and hitting the jumping knee strike.

Shida would be thrown onto the apron with a suplex, but was able to come back and hit a Stalling German Suplex on the apron.

Jumping Knee Strike off the apron would land, and Shida rolled Saraya into the ring for the sliding knee strike – but only got a two count.

The Nightcap would land from Saraya, but was only good for a near fall. The referee was distracted with a Kendo Stick, allowing Saraya to spray Shida in the eyes with paint before a second Nightcap – but again, it was only a near fall.

Falcon Arrow would land from Shida, but Saraya would kick out into a roll up – only for Shida to regain control and become a three time AEW Women’s World Champion after the three count.

Adam Copeland Needs Christian Cage To Remain Relevant

Adam Copeland is in AEW for one last run – and his biggest goals are to have fresh matches, and get Christian Cage to team up with him again.

While Cage refuses to even speak to Copeland, there is a fresh opponent waiting for him tonight. Standing at 6’5″ and weighing 275lbs, Luchasaurus is one of the strongest men on the AEW roster – and after he beat Copeland down on AEW Collision, he could be ready to end this run before it truly begins.

Christian Cage would accompany Luchasaurus to the ring – ensuring The Right Hand Of Destruction is able to fulfil his duty tonight.

Cage would rile up the crowd, saying that Copeland spent most of his career helping keep Cage away from his true potential. Now as Copelands career is on a Downward Spiral, and Cage is soaring high. Copeland needs Cage, not the other way around.

Charging to the ring, Copeland would try to get at Cage – but Nick Wayne was there to stop Copeland. The Extinction Lariat would land to the back of Copeland’s neck, but he would refuse to give in before the bell even rang. He would fight to his feet – and the bell would ring to make this match official..

Luchasaurus would quickly attack, hitting a Tombstone Piledriver for a near fall. Copeland would be driven face first into the turnbuckle, before choking him in the corner – using all of the referees four count.

Not looking to give in, Copeland would hit some jumping elbow strikes before eating a haymaker in the corner. Cage would watch intensely from the ramp, as Copeland was driven face first into the mat.

The Rated R Superstar Claims His First AEW Win

Copeland would be thrown around with ease by the former TNT Champion – with a back drop seeing him land on his neck.

A neck crank would follow, but Copeland would bite the hand of Luchasaurus – only to take a punt kick to the ribs. Luchasaurus would distract the referee, and Wayne would shove Copeland into the ring post.

The Steel Steps would be prepared at ringside for a chokeslam, but Copeland would fight back and drive Luchasaurus to the floor before the diving DDT.

Back in the ring, a crossbody to the back of Luchasaurus would land – and the Impaler DDT would follow, getting Copeland a near fall.

Luchasaurus would be set up on the top rope for some clubbing blows to the back of the head, before the Superplex.

Copeland would pull himself up, and Wayne would wedge a steel chair into the corner of the ring. He missed the spear, hitting the chair and eating a chokeslam – but Copeland was still able to kick out.

The steps would come into play, as Copeland would stun Luchasaurus before jumping off the steps for the spear. Back in the ring, Copeland would disarm Chrisitan Cage who tried to use the TNT Championship as a weapon – and threw it back to Cage after hitting Luchasaurus in the back of the head. Another spear – and Copeland scored his first AEW victory.
