Rush Reorganizes Los Ingobernables in AAA

Five years have passed since the formation of the iconic stable, Los Ingobernables. Originally founded by Rush alongside La Sombra (Andrade Cien Almas), La Máscara and Tetsuya Naito, Los Ingobernables became the top heel stable in Mexico. CMLL benefited from the turned that Rush had, from babyface to endearing heel. Arena Mexico saw the disrespect that Los Ingobernables brought charisma to a veteran, heel main event scene. From there on, Los Ingobernables spread their wings to Japan. With Naito forming the Japanese branch, Los Ingobernables de Japón (LIJ). By now you may be familiar with the names of BUSHI, EVIL, SANADA, Hiromu Takahashi and Shingo Takagi.

Things started to fall down for the Mexican branch when La Mascara was part of the famous incident that saw Ultimo Guerrero’s sports car being destroyed by the Alvarado family. Later on, La Sombra, no long ago after being unmasked, moves to WWE to become the man that we know now as Andrade “Cien” Almas. With those stars out of CMLL and Naito headlining Japan with LIJ, it seemed that Los Ingobernables were underwater. Only Rush and Bestia en el Ring remained. CMLL tried last year to bring forth El Terrible and Barbaro Cavernario to the faction, but nothing stuck to the wall. Meanwhile, with Maximo Sexy and La Mascara joining AAA, they tried to expand the branch by recruiting Rey Escorpion, Hijo del Fantasma, and Texano Jr. This would later be known as Los Mercenarios.

Now, with Rush leaving (or being fired) by CMLL, a new branch of Los Ingobernables is rising in Mexico. AAA saw on their television tapings the formation of La Facción Ingobernable. The new members include Impact Wrestling’s, Killer Kross, L.A. Park, and Konnan. La Mascara and Bestia del Ring rejoined the stable on a show of Nación Lucha Libre.

The inclusion of L.A. Park is a curious one. He and Rush had one of the greatest money-making rivalries of recent years. CMLL was unable to capitalize for two straight years on such a chance.  Both of them tore the house down with Major League Wrestling and the prospect of a hair vs. hair match in Arena Mexico could easily sold-out any big show in the country. But, CMLL decided not to use L.A. Park for a while, and Rush signed a lucrative contract with Ring of Honor. This seemed to destroy any chance at any future match. But with Rush out of CMLL and joining AAA with his brother, it seemed that the fire was rekindled.

Ring of Honor also created a branch of La Facción Ingobernables, with former Ring of Honor Television Champion, Kenny King, and the current TV Champion and brother of Rush, Dragon Lee, joining the stable. With both branches, Rush looks to keep the legacy he built with Los Ingobernables, a disrespectful group of guys, that despise tradition and are not afraid of being defiant of authority.
