Emmanuel Figueroa Rosado is a young writer from Puerto Rico. He's been writing about wrestling for four years now, specializing in Puerto Rican and Latin American wrestling. He also writes a weekly column for the Spanish wrestling magazine, Impacto Estelar, and for LWOS Life Magazine. The latter concentrating on scientific topics and reviewing science books. In March of 2020, Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) was schedule to present Homenaje a Dos Leyendas. The show features a big main event and a homage to the founder of CMLL, Salvador Lutteroth and a Lucha Libre legend. This year, Homenaje of Dos Leyendas was scheduled to honor Sangre Chicana. It was reported in various outlets that Lucha Libre could come back to its capital in Mexico City. This came when one of the mayors of the Mexico City municipalities told the public that the government would be paying for a show of Lucha Libre this Saturday. Development wrestling promotion, Espíritu Pro Wrestling Dojo finally released their matches for their event, Exhibición de Fuerza. Due to the pandemic, the promotion decided to record a private event in its facilities and present it on social networks (with a low payment to access this event). We reported yesterday about a Mexican Arena in San Luis Postosí that’s been having shows without the proper regulations. The Arena Margarita featured at least 450 fans and over 45 wrestlers. Now, another Mexican Arena, this time with wider space, faces criticism for breaking the Covid-19 regulations in the country. Per Lucha Blog, the state of Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) is a limbo. As we reported today, CMLL had some exhibitions matches behind-closed-doors. The problem right now, is, that Mexico City is still on orange light. La Razón CDMX (Reason Mexico City Magazine) reported that things are getting worse, from orange to red.
