Jordan Huie of the Overtimer here and I am scrambling a wee bit! I’m writing this from a different place than usual and I suppose the day go away from me a bit, but I’m here in time to start my previews for tonight! After all, it’s Friday and that means another episode of WWE SmackDown! Of course as usual there’s precious little to talk about, but I think they actually have announced more than last week… or atleast, they’ve vaguely hinted at more, moreso than outright announcing. But that’s about the best you’ll get when it comes to WWE sometimes. How many of us actually expect to know the whole TLC card by this time next week, eh?
And now, for the one match that’s been announced in advance this week!
Dolph Ziggler vs. Roman Reigns
I mean it’s only logical, right? Roman Reigns defeated Dolph Ziggler’s partner Robert Roode last week. In fact he not only beat him, but after Roode tried to jump him afterwards he ended up assaulting him so badly that he had to be stretchered out of the arena. So it only makes sense that Roman goes one-on-one with King Corbin’s other stooge – who follows him for largely unexplained reasons, as seems to be common with Corbin, the likes of Elias, Drew McIntyre and Bobby Lashley used to do much the same – and defeat and destroy him as well.
Perhaps that’s being presumptuous of me, but, well… last time Ziggler wrestled Reigns, to my knowledge, it saw him hit his finisher, the Zig Zag, out on the floor, then throw him inside the ring for a second Zig Zag, that was then just enough to get a nearfall. In a TV match. And now Roman’s actually being booked to look much stronger than that! Last week he was more of a destroyer than ever.
So yeah, good luck to ya, Dolph.
