Impact Wrestling are currently taping their next set of episodes for TV from down in Mexico. These upcoming episodes were already intriguing due to the addition of AAA talent into the mix, but a major title change will be the main draw in the weeks to come. Jordynne Grace has ended the year long reign of Taya Valkyrie to win the title. This was apparently Jordynne’s best match in the company thus far.
Jordynne Grace And Her Potential
The young powerhouse from Texas has made a name for herself in wrestling over the past few years, due to her uncanny strength and ability in the ring. At only 23, she has been capturing titles all across smaller independent promotions such as Black Label Pro, Pro Wrestling Magic & Lancaster Championship Wrestling. Her most notable reign until now however was her time as Progress World Women’s Championship. She would hold the title for 259 days before dropping it to the legendary Meiko Satomura. Jordynne has been set to be one of the breakout stars of womens wrestling in 2020. Many fans have claimed they would have rather seen her become the first ever woman to hold the Impact Championship over Tessa Blanchard.
Could This Mean The End For Taya Valkyrie In Impact?
It has long been speculated that Valkyrie would be leaving Impact Wrestling. These rumors began after her husband, John Hennigan would leave the company. He is best known to fans as John Morrison, who recently returned to WWE TV to rejoin The Miz. Now that her record setting reign as Knockouts Champion has ended, it will be easier for her to start to transition towards WWE. She is a fantastic talent, and one who would be able to fit into just about any womens division in wrestling. While WWE is not starving for talent, she could be unique enough to be able to get in the door with WWE sometime in the next year.
Who can tell what is next for Jordynne Grace in wrestling. The sky is the limit for her, and a big title win in a major promotion like Impact will only put more eyes on her as she becomes one of the best talents in womens wrestling.
