Jordan Huie of the Overtimer here to give you the live recap and results of the Women’s Royal Rumble match here! We’re doing this bit-by-bit, so things don’t get too padded out and I can get the results to you a little faster! So I’m gonna do this five numbers at a time!
Alexa Bliss is the first out, and with #2, we have our first surprise… Bianca Belair!
WWE Women’s 2020 Royal Rumble Match:
Alexa Bliss and Bianca Belair, again, are #1 and #2. Belair gets Bliss early with a big shoulder thrust in the corner! Takes her up top, nailing Alexa and she’s getting close to going out already! Alexa with a shot to the face gets her to the mat though, slaps, basement dropkick! Bianca’s up sooner than she expected though. Ducks a shot, Alexa with a headscissor but Bianca catches her! Wants to throw her over the top but Alexa’s struggling too much so she turns it into a backbreaker. Springs off the ropes for a Standing Moonsault!
And now… #3 – Mighty Molly comes out!
Molly Holly with her superherione alter-ego for reasons! Molly getting double teamed here. FIghts it off, kicks them away, crossbody off the top takes both women out! Crowd loves her! You Still Got it chant as we see #4 – Nikki Cross makes her way out! Nikki with an immediate runnign crossbody to Bianca! Alexa and Nikki teaming up, taking on both other women in the corners! They get a back body drop, taking Bianca and Molly to the apron! They meet in the middle for a hug! Molly body slams Alexa though, Bianca with a KOD takes Nikki onto Alexa!
They teaming up now to get Cross over the top, Alexa stops them. Nikki has to save Alexa as well. Cross with a dropkick to Molly, Bianca with a mean spear to Cross, Alexa gets the Code Blue on Bianca – Molly takes Bliss down with a clothesline!
This brings out #5… Lana!
Big heat on her way out and she demands we cut the music. She demands that Houston welcomes the greatest WW Superstar in the world. That’s what she said, just skipped the ‘E’. Says it’s a new year, she’s a newly-wed, better than all us pathetic losers. Claims she will win the Royal Rumble for her hot, hot husband, Bobby Lashley. Lana comes into the ring and starts hitting very, very basic moves and she basically took up the whole of the match!
