WWE Monday Night Raw rages on, Jordan Huie of the Overtimer here to continue the recap and results of the show. Ruby Riott being interviewed backstage about why she attacked Liv Morgan last week. Says that she was Liv’s best friend but best friends know everything about each other. Says Liv can take the pink out of her hair and try and tell people she’s metamorphized into a woman that strikes only when she wants to. But she knows that no matter what she says, what she tries to sell us on, Liv Morgan will always be a follower. And she strikes only when Ruby Riott is ready for her to strike. And now, out comes Aleister Black for his weekly victimization of another schmuck. Sadly, that schmuck this time around is former WWE Cruiserweight Champion Akira Tozawa.
Aleister Black vs. Akira Tozawa
Tozawa slips between Black’s legs for a waistlock but Black escapes, back elbow takes him to the mat. Whip to the corner, charges but Tozawa with the boots up, second rope dropkick! Black catches him with a pop-up knee strike to the ribs! Puts a foot to Tozawa’s chin and slowly raises him to his feet, for the wicked Black Mass! And that is for damned sure that.
Winner: Aleister Black
He gets on the mic afterwards, says he enjoys these moments and he appreciates everyone here tonight. Says everyone wants to escape these ideas of paradise and he knows a thing or two about rebelling against paradise. But he is starting to feel like an animal inside of a cage. Hrm. He sits down and crosses his legs as the lights darken. Says that for those who venture to him, it is not him that is trapped inside with you, it is you that is trapped inside this metaphoric cage with him. That’s legit what he said, metaphoric cage. In case you didn’t realize he was talking metaphorically. Anyway that seems like a clear hint that he’s got Erick Rowan on the mind, doesn’t it?
Elsewhere, Becky Lynch has driven the ambulance back to the Raw arena and is emerging through the backstage. She’s headed towards the arena and has only wiped off most of the blood, I’m guessing she’s about ready to come call out Shayna Baszler, maybe dare her to take another bite out of her.
