WWE Friday Night SmackDown continues, with Bayley coming out for the first match of the night… she defends the WWE SmackDown Women’s title in a rematch with Naomi right here, looks like.
WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship: Bayley (c) vs. Naomi
The bell rings, Naomi advances on her but Bayley grabs the microphone to interrupt, claiming that it’s ridiculous that she even has to be here tonight. Especially not in front of this crowd. She already made history by defeating Naomi last night. She then introduces Sasha Banks, making her return here in her hometown, calling her the next Grammy-award winning artist, better than Beyonce and Cardi B. Sasha gets a huge pop from the Boston faithful. Bayley then jumps Naomi from behind off this distraction. Naomi retakes the advantage quickly though, hits the Rear View and covers but Sasha rushes into the ring to break it up, forcing a DQ.
Winner: Naomi (By DQ)
There’s a double teaming on Naomi, until Lacey Evans arrives to make the save! After refusing to stop the fight, the referee calls for an impromptu tag team match to start instead.
Bayley & Sasha Banks vs. Naomi & Lacey Evans
The babyfaces quickly take Bayley and Sasha to the floor for a stereo pescado! Commercial break. We come back to see Bayley working over Naomi, cheap shot kicks from Sasha gets her a quick two count. Sasha tags in, running double knees for a 2 count. Facewashes her, gets an Arm Stretch going. Naomi fights out, Rolling Wheel Kick lands! Wants a tag but Sasha blocks her, dropkick for a 2 count. Bayley tags back in, double team back elbow for a 2 count. Sasha tags back in, knocks Lacey off the apron. Naomi does the same to Bayley, kicks Sasha off the corner, Swinging Jawbreaker landed but Lacey’s still down. She gets up in time, Naomi with an enziguri to Sasha, makes the hot tag as Bayley tags in as well.
Lacey with a pump kick to Sasha taking her to the floor, Springing Elbow to Bayley! Lacey gets her with the Springing Bronco Buster, Naomi blind tags in, Springboard Crossbody but Sasha breaks up the pin. Reversal sends Lacey to the floor, Backstabber on Naomi! But Lacey pulls Sasha out of the ring and tosses her into the barricade! Sasha reverses to send her into the barrier instead, Naomi with a kick to the face of Bayley, Sunset Flip gets the pin!
Winners: Naomi & Lacey Evans
Fairly quick and simple, but effective. Sets up another title match between Bayley and Naomi which seemed to be the idea with the Super Show-Down finish. Gotta love Sasha losing on her return night in her hometown, somehow they resisted pinning here.
