AEW Dynamite starting off with the tag team battle royal where the winners will challenge for the tag titles at AEW Revolution! The Young Bucks are my predicted winners, but we’ll see what happens!
Tag Team Battle Royal
The bell rings and everyone rushes into the ring! Looks like there aren’t any unexpected teams but it’s a little hard to tell. Everyone fighting, SCU with diving crossbodies from both sides of the ring to take out everyone, except for Jack Evans who takes his time gloating and scaling the top rope himself. The rules by the way are that both members of the respective teams must be eliminated. Evans tries a senton on the big group but he’s caught! They toss him right to the floor, Jack Evans is eliminated! T-Hawk sends Marq Quen to the apron, wants to do the same with Cassidy but the Silly String comeback sends him over the top! T-Hawk has been eliminated!
Frankie Kazarian gets a combo of shots, spin kick and discus lariat on Angelico! Alex Reynolds and John Silver in their masks clothesline SCU. They quickly make a comeback but in the front row, we see Evil Uno and the Dark Order’s spokesperson with a microphone, noting how Christopher Daniels is surprisingly not with them. Warn them that the Exalted One is approaching… the distraction allows Reynolds and Silver to throw SCU out! SCU have been eliminated! Bucks get the Dark Order’s reps with superkicks as soon as they turn around! Alex Reynolds & John Silver have been eliminated!
SCU charge and chase Uno and his spokesman away! Santana & Ortiz rush in, having waited in the back! They attack CIMA, send him and Jungleboy to the apron, the two of them fight out there. Jungleboy ducks and Luchasaurus gets CIMA with a big boot! CIMA has been eliminated, that’s it for the Stronghearts. Dropkicks and combo moves from the Jurassic Express, Jungle holds up Quen for a Tail Whip from Luchasaurus! The Bunny on the apron for a distraction allows the Butcher & the Blade to take out Jurassic Express. At ringside, the Dark Order offer CIMA a mask. He grabs it and looks stunned, walking away…
Angelico low bridges Nick Jackson to the apron, he hops over a legsweep and gets his springing X-Factor! Nick with spinning heel kicks to everyone, Luchasaurus tries to chokeslam him but he escapes, Trouble In Paradise! Charging high knees in the corner to Butcher & Blade, but on a corner charge he’s back body dropped to the outside! Nick Jackson has been eliminated! Matt and Private Party are sandwiched in the corner, Jungleboy gets back body dropped onto all three of them by the Butcher! Butcher and Luchasaurus stand toe-to-toe for a big man battle! Exchange of forearms and chops! BOO/YAY ensues! Lucha with a headbutt! Ducks a clothesline, big thrust kick but Butcher absorbs it, Discus Lariat lays him out and they’re both down!
Meanwhile, Santana clotheslines Quen to the apron, Private Party wants Silly String again but Proud-N-Powerful use it to shove Quen to the floor and throw Kassidy out onto him! Private Party have been eliminated. Luchasaurus with a push kick to the chest of Angelico and he’s sent barreling to the outside! Angelico has been eliminated! Sammy Guevara holds Jungleboy’s ankle, allowing P-N-P to eliminate him. Jungleboy has been eliminated. Luchasaurus now facing off with Santana & Ortiz. And a child has been abducted in my area so I’m getting an Amber Alert now. We’ll see who’s left after that.
Best Friends I guess just got a hug broke up, looks like Luchasaurus was eliminated and Chuck Taylor was thrown away.
But Trent lands on the shoulders of Orange Cassidy to make the save after he gets tossed! Trent back in, gets Blade with a Tornado DDT! Matt throws Blade over the top, he skins the cat but a double dropkick from Trent and Matt takes him to the floor! The Blade has been eliminated! Five men left, Matt Jackson, Trent, The Butcher and Proud-N-Powerful as the only full team left. They try and double team Matt and Trent but a dosie do counter stops that, double superkick to the Butcher! They share a hug and an Okada Zoomout occurs! They both get clotheslined by the Butcher though! Chops Trent in the corner. He’s thrown to the apron, clotheslined, barely holds onto the bottom rope! Trent with a front facelock, powers Butcher to the apron!
Cassidy is ready to catch Trent if he must. Trent chops Butcher with his damnedest though. The Bunny face to face with Cassidy, kicks him right between the legs! Butcher sends Trent to the floor! Trent has been eliminated! That’s it for the Best Friends. Matt Jackson spears Butcher from the apron! The Butcher has been eliminated! Matt didn’t go over the top so he’s still in, but by himself against Santana & Ortiz! He fights them both, Northern Lights Suplex on both men! Sends Santana to the apron, hits the ropes but Guevara sweeps the legs! P-N-P with the Street Sweeper on Matt! They throw him over and think he’s out but Matt is able to stay in, rolls back inside!
They hoist him for another double team but he escapes, gets the boot up off a charge, Ortiz gets him with the back rake, Matt throws him to the apron, superkick to Ortiz takes him to the floor! Ortiz has been eliminated! Superkick to Santana! Guevara springboards in but gets superkicked out of the air! Clothesline to Santana sends him to the floor and that is that!

That was a rad battle royal! Hard one to type along with, especially when I get interrupted by alerts… but a real cool story there with Matt being left alone early and fighting from underneath to get the win, another chapter in their feud with Proud-N-Powerful too! Backstage the champs are watching and Kenny’s pleased but Page is quite discontent.
