After a few months of inactivity from the suave grappling master, fans of 205 Live were thrilled to see Jack Gallagher return on this weeks episode. He made his presence known just before what could possibly be the biggest match in 205 Live history. Sporting a new look, and likely a new attitude, fans are buzzing about one of the bright young stars of WWE once again. He will return to action in two weeks time as a part of the 10-man elimination tag team match pitting 205 Live against WWE NXT.
205 Live vs. WWE NXT
In recent weeks, there has been a war brewing in the land of the Cruiserweights. Talent from NXT has been making their way onto the brand, and even claiming the Cruiserweight Championship. The long term members of the roster have banded together, and are looking to stop what they view as an invasion on their turf. It is a very old school angle, and is taking place with some of the best wrestlers in the world. Team 205 Live will be lead by Tony Nese, and consists of Ariya Daivari, Brian Kendrick, Jack Gallagher, and Mike Kanellis. Meanwhile Team NXT is to be lead by Lio Rush, and consists of Tyler Breeze, Swerve, Danny Burch, and Oney Lorcan. It will essentially work like a Survivor Series match, and fans have been excited about what should be a fantastic must see match.
Jack Gallagher And His New Look
On this past weeks episode of 205 Live, after Mike Kannelis broke up a pin to prevent Lio Rush from beating Tony Nese, Jack Gallagher would reemerge. While he has held many looks in his tenure in WWE, this is his biggest change yet. He is sporting a new haircut and a new Pirate looking tattoo on his chest, headbutting Rush and standing tall. The look has drawn comparisons to MMA fighter Connor McGregor, and his attack on Rush shows that he might be taking a brawling approach to his style going forward. It will help him stand out even more, and considering he has always been one of the biggest stars in the division, it will be interesting to see where this leads for him.
