WWE Monday Night Raw continues and out comes the WWE Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch. She raises her title up in the air before quickly cutting a promo on Shayna, saying she knows she’s watching, laser-focused. Because as long as she holds this title, nothing makes sense to her. She’s been taught that she can just bully her way to the top, she did it for years in NXT. But she sees this loud, ginger absolute legend of an Irish woman run the show and it makes her question the natural order of things. She wants to explain it in a way that the scum bag can figure out. Tells her that she’s the prey that eats the predator.
Says every tweet, every interview is to get her thinking the way she wants her to think. She wants her to do something she never does, she wants her to think. Wants her to think about how it’ll feel when she beats her. She watched her destroy the entire division and it made her wake up to a little bit of reality but she’s going to make Shayna realize that her life is a lie and it will hit her like a truck.
Shayna Baszler was of course watching on a screen that whole time, and she’s fuming.
That’s it though, that’s the whole segment. We then see a vignette showing Charlotte Flair attacking Rhea Ripley on last week’s episode of NXT.
We cut to Kevin Owens backstage, he’s asked about Seth Rollins challenging Owens to a match anywhere, anytime. Owens says of course he accepts the challenge and as far as the place, well he just got that answered by the announcement tonight. It’ll happen here at the Performance Center. It’s the best place, and he says he really means it. Says Rollins never spent his time in the PC but Owens started his WWE career right there. Before that trial, he heard from so many people that he was never gonna make it, that he was not the guy for WWE.
Says one of the people he heard it from is Seth Rollins. Claims Seth said it before his tryout, said it after he got signed and even said it again a few months ago. He’ll show Seth that he’s earned his place in WWE and he’ll do it at WrestleMania.
