With war brewing between Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and the rest of his family on the horizon, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will continue infecting Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) with more of her ideas, drive, and whatever she uses to make people believe her.
What’s really curious about this is we expect there to be more sexual tension between them, but what if sparks flying is promo code for an argument?
There’s been every indication that Adam intends to come after Nick to oust him from the CEO seat and not the company itself, and Nick is already feeling the pressure with his Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) still on the mend indefinitely and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) looking over his shoulder, not accepting any weakness or excuses.

Under that kind of pressure, it’s understandable if Nick loses his cool with Phyllis if she complains about something or goes on a rant about what she’s going to do to Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway). It could remind him of what Adam’s like or trigger something in him he doesn’t like.
And knowing them, it’ll lead to another encounter where they’ll be saying it won’t happen again afterwards because Phyllis is a very strong disease.
Billy’s surprised by Jill
Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) has never been one to give up on an idea. If anything, she tends to become more stubborn and focused.
Her last attempt to get Billy Abbot (Jason Thompson) under her wing and give him something to focus on by creating a position just for him. While he refused it, doesn’t mean we won’t again, especially after everything that’s happened.
But will she pull the invitation out for him again?
CBS The Young and the Restless Spoilers believe there are a couple plausible events that’ll happen. One is that Jill will attempt some scheme or other to get Billy and Victoria back together. She’s shown she doesn’t agree with them being apart, but what kind of surprise would this be? A trip to Europe? A lavish estate?
Out of all the possibilities, these seem unlikely given the nature of things, especially Victoria’s current state of mind. While it’s doubtful Jill knows about that while planning her magnanamous offer, it’s a reach for us.
What we feel is probable ties into the above, as she may want to hand her company, or at least a large portion of it, to Billy. It’d be a gesture similar to Victor handing things over to Victoria. This could be her way of showing Victoria and the world that Billy can be his own man and be responsible.
If he accepts, which is probably around the 50/50 range, then she can put the next part of her plan into motion. Cue the collective groans of the Newmans and possibly Billy.
As we’ve seen, it will take some time for Victoria to recover, but there’s also the possibility she may never get over her current fear. In an odd way, maybe Jill and Billy are the ones to help her through this?
One thing that’s for sure is we’re in for an interesting couple of weeks or months, depending on what Jill is planning. Of course, it could be something benign like a present or something for Victoria. That’d definitely surprise Billy.
