WWE Friday Night SmackDown rolls on. Backstage, King Corbin is about to speak of what’s in store for him at WrestleMania when Elias interrupts him with his guitar. Elias says his voice was annoying so he thought he’d try and drown it out. Corbin goes on a rant with zero self-awareness talking about how Elias is delusional, playing a gimmick that nobody buys into and if he keeps up, he might have to answer to the King. It was actually pretty funny. Then, backstage Heavy Machinery comes up to Mandy Rose. Otis tries to apologize for what happened on Valentine’s Day, tries to explain the text. Mandy tells him that it’s a little too late, a girl doesn’t appreciate being stood up like that. And now… the Tag Team Gauntlet match. This one will be going on a while, I think.
Heavy Machinery vs. The New Day (Tag Team Gauntlet Match) (Winning team gets the last entry in the Elimination Chamber match)
First out is the New Day, Kofi Kingston & Big E. The second team is Heavy Machinery. Tucker and Kofi start out the match. Tucker shoots him off, gets a shoulder block. “Otis” chant as Kofi with a leap frog or two, flying back elbow. TUCKY takes Kofi to the corner, body block, Kofi reverses a whip but gets sent into the corner anyway, Monkey Flip from the big man but Kingston lands on his feet! Roll from Knight, stereo dropkicks attempted and a standoff! Tucker such an athletic big man. Kofi tags out to his own heavy Big E… but he points to Otis! The crowd rises for this!
Otis smirks and tags in, already jiggling as he comes face to face with E! Big E tries a shoulder tackle and barely gets him to budge. Otis tries one, sends E flying into the ropes but he’s still standing! Big middle of the ring collision, Otis stops him with a Scoop Slam! Tucker tags in, Heavy Machinery with Stereo Delayed Suplexes to both members of the New Day! Clotheslines send E and Kofi to the floor. They pursue them out there, Tucker whips Otis into a double clothesline! Commercial break. We come back to see Tucker get E with a belly to belly I think, they were doing the huge zoom out so I wasn’t sure.
E tags to Kofi, Springboard Elbow! Flying clothesline, hits the ropes for the Boom Drop! Wants the Trouble Paradise but Tucker ducks it, whip to the corner, Kofi springs from the top rope for the Missile Dropkick! Kicks Tucker out of the ring. E tags in, launches Kofi over the top rope but Tucker catches him out of the air and belly to bellies him onto the floor! E rushes out right into a standing dropkick! Otis tags in, Trash Compactor for the pin! The New Day have been eliminated!
