AEW Dynamite rolls on, Tony Schiavone is talking to Jon Moxley in the parking lot. Due to his injuries, Moxley is on the Do Not Enter list. He says when will people learn, he just goes where he pleases. That said, they have enough problems right now without him being there to punch out cops. Still, he warns the Inner Circle to watch their backs. He then steps into the Ford GT he got from Jericho and whizzes off at full speed. Now, out come the Jurassic Express to face off with the Butcher & the Blade.
Jurassic Express (Jungleboy & Luchasaurus) vs. The Butcher & The Blade
Jungleboy and Blade tie up, Blade gets him into the corner, no clean break as he kicks him in the gut repeatedly. Knife edge chop. Whip reversed into a snapmare, Jungleboy with a crucifix for a 2 count! Side headlock, Jungle shot off, leap frogs, springboard arm drag! Ducks a couple of clotheslines, but the Kitchen Sink knee flips him over! Hooks him in a front facelock, Jungle with a roll-up breaks that, tag to Luchasaurus who gets Blade with a chop. Blade is beset by kicks, Assisted Flatliner, Lucha pins him for a nearfall!
Lucha gets him with a high knee, takes him to the corner, tag to Jungleboy, Lucha with a big boot stomp, Jungle with an Implosion Senton. Butcher and the Blade bail, Jungleboy with a tope but they catch him and toss him right into the barricade! Lucha comes out to confront them. Ref forces him back. Butcher and Blade both pick him up and slam him onto the apron. Blade throws him into the ring, pulls him up. Double headbutt from both of them, Butcher stomps Jungle into the corner. Pulls him up, big chop! Blade tags back in, whip, clothesline. Cover for a 2 count. Side Slam/Legdrop combo for a nearfall as we go to break, match continues in the inset.
Quick tags and isolation, double clothesline, Butcher covers for a nearfall. Works over the legs of Jungleboy. We come back to see the isolating continue, Jungleboy escapes a casadora and gets Blade with a big clothesline! Crawls over, wants the tag but Blade stops him with an elbow drop! Tosses him to the floor. Butcher drives Jungleboy into the ring apron! Tosses him into the ring, Blade covers for a 2 count. Jungle with a forearm, goes up top, Butcher and Blade try to double team but he hits them both away, flies off the top, roll into the hot tag!
Luchasaurus with crazy kicks to both men, flat-footed moonsault to the Butcher on the outside! Headscissor Driver on Blade! Rolling kick to the head catches him flush! Pulls him up onto his shoulders, Death Valley Driver, Butcher breaks up the pin! Jungleboy comes flying in, Butcher sends him flying, Blade catches him, Jungle flips to the apron, that was a crazy motion… Butcher clobbers Lucha with shot after shot to the back of the head. Luchasaurus ducks a clothesline, flying kick to the back. Wants a chokeslam, Blade breaks it up, double teaming ensues, Assisted Uranage, Blade covers for a nearfall, Jungle boy makes the save! Wants a heel kick but Butcher catches him, hits a backbreaker. In the front row, MJF calls for Full Death. They go for it, but Luchasaurus pulls Jungleboy out of harm’s way, kicks the Butcher to the outside. Double team Cutter, Jungle rushes out to stomp on the Butcher as Lucha pins Blade for the win.
Winners: Jurassic Express
Could definitely feel the lack of being able to call spots in the ring there, that’s kinda hard to do without crowd noise drowning you out. Solid win nonetheless.
