WWE Monday Night Raw continues. We see Kevin Owens in the ring, on his back and leaning against the ropes with a mic. He just got laid out with a Stomp in the last segment. Says Seth just kicked some sense into him, no pun intended. He’s been thinking a lot about what he said last week and after what just happened, he has a lot to say. He knows he’s watching so listen up. Last Monday, Seth walked around this place and said that while he never trained here this building was built because of him. Said that everybody that came through this place should be thankful for him, this building was built on his blood, sweat and tears, built on his back.
But he actually heard otherwise. He heard that this place was built in spite of Rollins. He heard that from the moment he set foot into that warehouse he was a nightmare to deal with. You knew everything about everything, people couldn’t stand you. And in the last year, Seth has done a wonderful job proving everyone right when they say he’s just an arrogant dipsh*t. People can say whatever they want about the path that he took but what separates them is that Owens is not delusional. Rollins proved he’s delusional last week with everything he said. He claimed to be a God, while Owens is just a disappointment. Kevin admits that those words stung. But he realized that Seth is wrong.
While he may not have the WrestleMania moments that Seth does, he does have the same accolades that Seth does.
He’s been Intercontinental Champion, NXT Champion, Universal Champion, in fact he was Universal Champion before Seth. But he’s also not too proud to admit that he didn’t do any of it alone. He always had help and so did Seth. Seth always had backup and if he didn’t he found some underhanded way to get what he wanted. That doesn’t mean you can’t be proud of these achievements but the past doesn’t matter and that’s never been more true than this Saturday. This Saturday he will prove Seth Rollins is no prophet and he will take his first ever WrestleMania moment from Seth. At WrestleMania this Saturday, he will burn it down.
Another nice, serious, intense promo. I think the setting here has actually convinced them to lay off the goofy jokes, especially with major angles like this one.
