WWE Monday Night Raw is ongoing. We now have a six-man tag team match, supposed to be the Street Profits and Kevin Owens taking on Seth Rollins, Andrade and Angel Garza. But Zelina Vega comes out with Angel Garza and says that the United States Champion Andrade has suffered a serious injury to his ribs and has not been declared medically cleared for defeat. But she can pull top caliber talent out of her hat whenever she wants. Introduces us to the hottest free agent no more, the 22-year old sensation, Austin Theory. Out he comes, looking quite smug. They’re extremely high on this guy, it seems. Sorta funny that he’s teaming with Seth Rollins because they may well see him as his successor.
Kevin Owens & The Street Profits vs. Austin Theory, Angel Garza & Seth Rollins
Seth immediately tags out to Theory, wants him to show us what he’s got. Theory shoves Owens and gets a huge punch to the face for his troubles. Owens pummels him into the corner, yells at Rollins, tag to Dawkins. Angelo tags to Ford, double team clothesline, flapjacks Angel onto Theory, Ford with the tope taking them both out right before the commercial break.
When we come back, Ford avoids an attack from Garza with a series of handsprings. But Angel gets him with a dropkick, rips off the pants. Theory tags in, takes him down, cover for 2. Chinlock cinched in, Rollins giving him advice. Theory with a roll-through dropkick to Ford. Hammers him with a forearm. Wants a back suplex, Ford escapes behind him, makes the hot tag to Dawkins who gets Theory with a reverse powerslam, wants his spinning body block in the corner but Theory avoids it, sends him to the outside.
But there, Dawkins plows through Angel Garza, back into the ring to take it to Theory until Rollins attacks from behind. He actually blind tagged in a few moments ago I think commentary missed that. Seth gets in Owens’ face and poses as Kevin begs Dawkins to come tag him in. Seth chokes Dawkins in the middle rope, Angel with a cheap shot. Theory tags in, double teaming takes Dawkins to the mat. Theory with a blow to the back of the neck, stomp to the small of the back. Front facelock as he takes him to the heel corner, Angel tags in and gets Dawkins with a kick to the backside. Camel Clutch locked in and fish hooks applied for a moment.
Rollins tags in, keeps the holds going as he keeps Dawkins against the mat. Dawkins fights his way up but Seth with a body shot, Slingblade, mounted punches. Seth wants a thrust kick, Dawkins catches it, huge knockout shot! Tag to Owens, who rushes in but Rollins flees, tags in Garza who eats a volley of chops. Owens irish whips him, big chop takes him down, senton, Cannonball in the corner! Ford rushes in, big tope to Theory. Actually misses but the camera tries to hide it. Stunner, Owens pins Garza.
