WWE Monday Night Raw continues as Kevin Owens is pacing slowly around the ring. Says last week he answered Rollins’ challenge but he was nowhere to be found. Says he heard Seth was here tonight, so he’s calling him out. Before long Rollins’ music hits and out he walks to the stage with a mic. Says Kevin is just hte man he was looking for. Had a couple of questions for him regarding his comments last week. Seth looks out across the Performance Center, says this place is pretty nice. Asks Kevin if he honestly believes that fighting him in this building gives him the homefield advantage? He can’t wrap his head around that. It’s true that Kevin trained here when Seth didn’t, puts over how Owens earned his job in this building. But do you understand how you got that opportunity in the first place? Seth says that he didn’t train here because this place didn’t exist before he got to WWE. It was built off his blood and sweat. When he got to WWE he walked into a dilapidated warehouse and was told that nothing he had done up to that point mattered. His whole life’s work, all up in smoke.
Seth says Kevin can’t understand that sacrifice.
Says everything has come from him, he’s rebuilt the system from the ground up but Kevin stands in the way of it all. Seth tells him that there is no Performance Center, no NXT without Seth Rollins. There is no Gargano, no Ciampa, no Undisputed Era, no Women’s Evolution without Seth Rollins. Kevin says he doesn’t want to listen to more of this delusional nonsense but Seth cuts him off.
Says every week he tells him less talk more fighting, so just let him finish. Asks him why of all places he would challenge him at WrestleMania? He quickly rattles off his WrestleMania accolades, says he has more WrestleMania moments than he can count and Owens… doesn’t. Seth says Owens’ WrestleMania track record is just failure after failure after failure. What about last year? Oh, that’s right. Kev wasn’t even good enough to be on WrestleMania. Seth tells Kevin that he can’t beat him on his worst day and WrestleMania is never his worst day. Because under pressure, he becomes a God. Tells him he really doesn’t stand a chance.
His music hits and he makes his leave as we transition to the Asuka/Charlotte match from WrestleMania 34.
