Elimination Chamber is quickly coming, and the biggest match on the card is for a shot at the RAW Women’s Championship. Six women will go through hell to prove they are ready to face The Man at Wrestlemania. One of these is the Punk Rock Ragdoll, former leader of The Riott Squad, Ruby Riott.
Fresh Off Of An Injury
In wrestling, injuries happen. Ruby Riott went down with a shoulder injury in May 2019, causing her to miss the rest of the year. She recently made her return to Monday Night RAW, and was able to make her presence known she would beat down her former protege Liv Morgan. Ruby is clearly hungry to succeed following so long on the shelf, and that hunger will come in very handy in a match as intense as Elimination Chamber.
One Win Away From Stardom
Ruby Riott has yet to claim a championship in WWE, but has had a few big chances in the past. She attempted to beat Ronda Rousey, and lived up to her nickname after being ragdolled. Another attempt came when she clashed with Charlotte Flair in 2018 at Fastlane, which was a much more competitive matchup for Riott. She has proven that she is able to reach that in-ring level a champion needs, and just one or two huge wins would secure her as a star for the future of the WWE women’s division.
Ruby Riott Will Risk It All
With her punk rock ‘Do or Die’ attitude, placing Ruby in a match with as few restrictions as an Elimination Chamber match is dangerous to her health as well as everyone else in the ring. We can easily see Ruby being the one crazy enough to scale one of the pods and throw herself off just to eliminate one person. This type of attitude could make it very hard to put her down, especially with Wrestlemania and her first championship win so close. It would be the ultimate way to complete her return from injury, even if it could put her back on the shelf in the process. They don’t call some moves high risk for no reason.
