We see a clip of a guy who was evidently a Heisman hopeful in football once upon a time. We hear a voicemail of a girl breaking up with him. Though it doesn’t quite show his face we see him type into a search bar and visiting the Dark Order website to sign up, explaining that he had the whole world in his hands and he lost it all. This then transitions to Brodie Lee interviewing the guy, still not showing his face. Brodie talks about how he’s heard much about him from Evil Uno. Says he understands exactly what he’s gone through, more than anybody. Then he asks him how tall he is. I found that utterly hilarious, all things considered. Brodie is of course happy to know he’s a big man who used to play football as well.
Brodie tells him that a lot of people are afraid to give him a real shot because they are afraid of success. Asks him if he looks afraid. He officially welcomes him to the Dark Order. I’m honestly not sure who this could be but it looks like the numbers of the group are only going to continue to grow and Brodie may well have a real apprentice type on his hands now. Then, Brodie Lee is here to face off with Justin Law. Meaningful shot of Marko Stunt watching on in concern from ringside.
Brodie Lee vs. Justin Law
Brodie quickly takes advantage and pounds him, big forearm to the chest and he collapses. Lee with a biel toss, Thrust Kick nailed hard! Lee just waits for him to rise, Front Facelock Suplex! And then another one, just tossing him like a ragdoll! Chops him into the corner. Clothesline, pulls him in for the Black Hole Slam! Lee stops to stare down Marko. Slowly pulls Law to his feet, Discus Lariat nailed HARD! Marko stares in agape as Lee covers him.
Winner: Brodie Lee
Quick squash and not hard at all to make a guy like Brodie look good. Afterwards, Lee leaves the ring and slowly walks over to Marko once again, keeping on a trend here. Marko once more does not back down from him. Lee makes his leave and once he’s gone though, it’s pretty clear how nervous the little dude is.
We see an interview with the Best Friends. Chuck says Penelope Ford isn’t gonna cost Orange Cassidy his first win. Trent says he’d like to fight Penelope but legally he cannot. So instead he’ll fight her boyfriend and also Jimmy Havoc for some reason.
