It was a blink and you’ll miss it affair, but the weeks of odd hype packages within NXT have finally paid off. They signaled the coming of a man known as Killer Kross, who made his name in Impact Wrestling as a terrifying force to be reckoned with. It seems that he has set his eyes on one of the top stars of the brand, given his first appearance.
In The Background Of The Fallout Of Johnny Gargano vs. Tomassao Ciampa
After an epic 48 minute battle between Johnny Gargano & Tomassao Ciampa, Gargano would be using the shoulder of his wife Candice LeRae to get back to their car and leave all this behind them. There was only one car in the parking lot besides theirs, and two people sat inside, scouting their targets. These were Killer Kross and his wife, Scarlett Bordeaux. This would indicate that their first feud on the brand will involve Gargano & LeRae in some way, perhaps looking to prove that they are the top couple on the band, not the Garganos. This would be an excellent way to introduce them, as it would ensure both could look like absolute stars in the ensuing matches, as they would be matched up with two of the best wrestlers in WWE.
Killer Kross Has A High Ceiling In WWE
Kross is another athletic marvel, as at 6’4″ he can move like a cruiserweight. Add in some great character and promo work, and he has star written all over him. We could possibly see him win the NXT Championship, or only have a brief stint on the brand before making his name known on RAW & Smackdown. Vince McMahon is reportedly a big fan of his work, and pushed hard for his signing, which bodes well for his success. Once WWE gets a good taste of what to expect from him in the safest area which is NXT, they will know exactly how to use him. If he fails to impress in NXT however, he could be reduced to being in a role similar to that of Mike Kannelis or even Marc Mero, as a second to his wife.
