WWE WrestleMania 36 rolls on. Otis and Dolph Ziggler get a vignette, including the “I Love You song” bit that I love so much. Now, they finally face off in Dolph Ziggler’s first singles match at WrestleMania. Dolph comes out with Sonya Deville by his side. Otis seems to be going solo, TUCKY was injured by Ziggler this past Friday.
Otis Dozovic vs. Dolph Ziggler
Otis charges, Dolph evades him. Ziggler wants to outquick him but Otis grabs hold, gets him into the corner, big body block! Goes for another but Dolph avoids him, nails him flush with a loud superkick! Otis falls to the outside! Dolph pursues, shoves him into the barrier, forces him back into the ring, cover for a 1 count. Rakes the eyes of Otis, side headlock. Otis fights his way up, but Dolph trips him to the mat. Waits for him to stand, blasts him with a Standing Dropkick, pin for another count of 1! Chokes him in the middle ropes, another rake of the eyes. Neckbreaker plants him, leaping elbow drop for a 2 count.
Headlock, Otis fights his way up and knocks him away but Dolph with some leg kicks, goes for a standing dropkick but Otis catches him for a catapult into the corner! Dolph with a kick to the gut, Otis starts to jiggle! Charging back elbow hits but he keeps going! Otis with a headbutt, and a clothesline! Hoists him up for a body slam! Grinds the boots into his back! Power whip into the corner, Dolph takes his big buckle bump! Back body drop takes Dolph to the floor! Goes out and rams him hard into the barricade! Ziggler gets posted! Back into the ring, Dolph wants a crossbody but Otis catches him out of the air with a powerslam! Going for the Caterpillar but Sonya on the apron distracts him! As the ref and Otis yell at her, Dolph gets him with a low blow from behind!
As Dolph is struggling to try and make the cover though, Mandy Rose’s music hits! She comes down and confronts Deville! Slaps her right in the face and throws her into the ring! As the ref deals with her, Mandy gets into the ring! Dolph asks what she’s doing and she goes down for a low blow to Ziggler! Otis nails the Caterpillar and makes the pin, gets the win!
Winner: Otis Dozovic
Otis and Mandy celebrate together, Mandy leaps into his arms and they share a kiss! They make their leave with each other. Nice to see this angle got the right ending.
