In WWE, the womens tag team division has gotten the bare minimum attention until very recently. Nikki Cross & Alexa Bliss has been doing a great job at raising the stock of the championships, having been defending the belts much more often. They are looking to defend their titles just about ever single week, and their tag team chemistry is getting better with every match. However, there is one team who has unmatched chemistry in the division, despite having been off TV for several months. This is the team of Peyton Royce & Billie Kay, The Iconics, who are eager to get back in the the ring.
Peyton Royce Took Time Off To Be With Family During Trying Times
Earlier this year in Australia, they were being ravaged by deadly wildfires. During this, Peyton Royce & Billie Kay made their way back to the region to help out their families and communities. They auctioned off ring gear and merchandise to make some money to donate to the wildlife fire relief funds. They are now back in Florida however, and Peyton Royce during Q&A session on her Instagram account would note how she is eager to get back in the ring and hopes to return soon.
Answering An Open Challenge
Should Nikki Cross & Alexa Bliss continue to accept any challengers to defend their WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships, we will eventually run out of combinations for them to face, even if teams like Kayden Carter & Kacy Catanzaro or Dakota Kai & Raquel Gonzalez come up from NXT to challenge for the championships.
This will mean that there will soon come a time for an Iconic moment, as Peyton Royce & Billie Kay return with the intentions to become two time champions. Royce & Kay were mainly used as a comedy duo but their in ring ability is impeccable, especially that of Royce who was trained by Lance Storm. They have some incredible tag team chemistry, and BlissCross vs. Iconics could be the first memorable feud in the divisions short history.
Do you hope that we are able to see Peyton Royce & Billie Kay make their way back to WWE TV soon? Should they become the next team to become two time WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions? Let us know what you think about this team in the comment section down below.
