This weeks episode of NXT was intended to be concluded by a segment with Tommaso Ciampa, who would address the match with Johnny Gargano from last week. He was going to admit that Gargano was the better man now that their feud is over, but things would not go as planned. Ciampa would sit down backstage with a camera immediately following Matt Riddle & Timothy Thatcher vs. Undisputed Era to start this message.
What Tommaso Ciampa Could Say
Ciampa in the short time he could talk, he would let fans know that he is done with all of this. He is done with Gargano, he is done with Candice, all this is now behind him. Gargano won the war, and that was it, he is the better man. He seemed to have more to say, but he wouldn’t get the chance, as a debuting star would instead take this chance to finally properly introduce himself to WWE fans.
Karrion Kross Is Here
For weeks, there have been vignettes airing throughout NXT signaling a debut is coming, which would be decoded as being for the recently signed Killer Kross. He would appear with his wife at the end of the brawl between Gargano & Ciampa, staking out the match in their car. That was a blink and you’ll miss it moment, but you couldn’t miss this. He would sneak up behind Ciampa and laid him out with a German Suplex, knocking over Ciampa’s camera in the process, before brutalizing him off screen. Ciampa would be send right into view of the camera, as the boot of Scarlett Brodeux would enter the frame, followed by the man now known as Karrion Kross, who simply said Tick Tock before the show cut to black.
Does Kross Have A Clear Target?
While he clearly went after Tommaso Ciampa on this night, it previously seemed as though Scarlett & Kross would be going after Gargano & Candice, as they were the ones being watched last week. Kross could be simply looking to take out both men, and secure himself a top spot on the roster right out of the gate. Once Ciampa realizes what happened, he will be looking for revenge, so we can look forward to that match very soon. Do you think Karrion Kross will live up to the hype in NXT?
