It is a poorly kept secret that Aleister Black & Zelina Vega are the opposite of enemies behind the scenes in WWE. While they will clash on screen, especially when Black faces her main client Andrade, that’s all just business. Behind the scenes they are happily married, which has fans wondering when Aleister Black will become her client, or if that is even an option.
Not Wanting His Wife As A Manager
During an interview with The New York Post, Black spoke on this possibility, and why he does not want it to happen. “I have no interest in having my wife as my manager and I don’t think she has to because it would be kind of cliché. It’s almost in the line of expectations where it’s like, oh of course you’re going to put them together, and I don’t want that. I don’t think that I necessarily need my wife or my wife needs me on screen because clearly my wife is doing a phenomenal job. She’s basically been the head of Raw for the last two, three weeks.”
Zelina Vega alongside Andrade, Angel Garza and Austin Theory has been a major player on Monday Night RAW, with her clients even clashing with WWE Champion Drew McIntyre and Aleister Black in recent weeks. They should remain major players as long as Andrade still has the United States Championship, but even then Andrade is set for future main event glory. Aleister Black would not fit the vibe of a stable, and is not the type who needs a manager to speak for him. He might not be The Rock on the microphone, but he does fine when he needs to speak.
Will Aleister Black Take The United States Championship?
While he has clear main event potential, he is unlikely to face Drew McIntyre for the WWE Championship anytime soon. This leaves the United States Championship as an option, and given his history with winning the NXT Championship from Andrade, it would be an incredible rivalry. Andrade does not have a current rival on Monday Night RAW, especially after Apollo Crews fell to injury.
