CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers here with a new throwback spoiler coming all that was from August 14, 2003. Few things fit as snugly into a Villain week theme better than a murder mystery. Or in this case, the culmination of one.
Of course, few things are better than a double cross nearing fruition, and the storyline between Isabella Williams (Eva Longoria) and Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) is of one the best ones we’ve seen in a while, so it’s going to be fun reliving this one.

Grab some clues
It’s interesting seeing a lawyer and detective working together to prove someone’s innocence on one of these shows, because there is no way anyone is going give up. Especially in this case when both participants, Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) and Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc), have stronger than usual ties to the alleged guilty party.
Their personal plight eventually pays off as they’ve continued to poke hole after hole in the case against Christine. Of course, it’s fair to note that when one tries to frame their death on another, it may get a little tricky. At least, that’s what CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers have learned from watching daytime television.
Still, an interesting piece of evidence eventually comes into their possession, and it’s lack of emotion.
Apparently, Isabella’s parents aren’t showing more than the slightest remorse for losing their daughter. That’s strange in its own right and should send them running to Christine, but instead the pair argue over whether she should be hypnotized again. Hope they hurry. Things are starting to pick up speed…
Vengeful ghost
With things going crazy around her, Christine decides a bath would be a good idea to help her relax. Sounds logical, right? Unfortunately, she startles herself when she imagines seeing Isabelle standing there with a butcher knife in her hand.
To her surprise, things shift from a frightening vision to terrifying reality when Isabelle tells her she’s not imaginary, and that leads to a fun little segment CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers likes to call “Monologue Corner.”
Yep, Isabelle goes on a classic villain monologue about how she faked her own murder and set Christine up as the guilty party. But there’s more fun to come, as she also informs Christine that Isabelle’s not going to kill her. In reality, Christine is going to kill herself.
Talk about a fun twist. Christine, not wanting to be a damsel in distress, tries to fight back and take the knife from Isabelle. The struggle doesn’t last long as Christine begins to have trouble and realizes her wine’s been spiked.
A pretty cool episode, and we hope they bring Eva Longoria back again. It’s always fun to watch her in action. Would you like to see her return? Let us know in the comments, and check back with CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers for the latest updates, speculation, and spoilers around.
