WWE Monday Night Raw continues and we’re about to have five straight promos so gear up. Backstage Drew McIntyre is being interviewed about Buddy Murphy claiming that he knows he’ll defeat him. Drew says he must’ve hit him harder than he thought last week. Says Murphy is a very confused young man. Seth picked him up to do his bidding. Says Murphy is very talented. But if he wants to sacrifice himself for the Messiah and the Messiah wants to sacrifice his underling, then who is he to deny a good old fashioned slaughtering?
The Viking Raiders are interviewed about their win and they say they respect and even like the Street Profits but at the end of the day, they’re just the better team. The raid is on.
We get a recap of AJ Styles’ promo earlier and Aleister Black is in the shadowy void asking how it felt. How it felt to be buried six feet below and swallowing the darkness. Says it didn’t make AJ any more humble, now he’s talking about throwing him off a building this Sunday. Said that if AJ somehow managed to do this, pray that he doesn’t get back up. Because he’ll climb that ladder and take that contract and when he does, AJ will wish that he was buried much deeper than those six feet.
We later see Rey Mysterio say he’s been a WWE Superstar long enough to know what to expect… except for this Sunday. For the first time ever this match will not take place in a ring (except for the end of it as far as I know) it will instead take place at WWE HQ where everyone will be fighting from the ground floor to the roof. One bad decision, one bad move, that’s all she wrote. Kind of a morbid vibe to this match being painted by tonight’s promos. Says his career is closer to the end than the beginning. He doesn’t know how many championship opportunities he’s had left. It’s risky, but the risk is worth the reward.
And now for the fifth consecutive promo, out comes Charlotte Flair. She talks about doing double duty working both Mondays and Wednesdays. This Wednesday she wrestles Io Shirai. Says she’s wrestled all over the world and a few weeks ago she won a brutal ladder match to get this chance. Says Io has claimed Charlotte Flair is her dream opponent. Charlotte says this makes her very happy but she will have the privilege of bowing down to the queen. Liv Morgan makes her way out and asks if she remembers her. Charlotte says she must want her to take the new Liv Morgan serious. Liv says she didn’t even have a daddy to take her to school let alone one to hand her a spot in the WWE. Wants the chance to prove herself against Charlotte. Charlotte says yes she was born with a silver spoon and she’s damn proud of it. It’s a shame that she just said the same thing she’s heard about her for years. She thought Liv was gonna call her a dream opponent like Io but both of them will bow down to the Queen. Liv says let’s get a referee down here and see what happens. The two of them will square off next.
