AEW Dynamite continues. In our next match we have a fatal four way match with major implications in the AEW Women’s division. Britt Baker, Hikaru Shida, Penelope Ford and Kris Statlander square off with a likely shot at Nyla Rose at Double Or Nothing hanging in the balance!
Britt Baker vs. Hikaru Shida vs. Penelope Ford vs. Kris Statlander
The fight breaks out right away, Britt goes right after Shida and Ford thus fights with Statlander. Britt tries to set Hikaru up in the bottom rope to shatter her teeth until Kris hoists her up into the air! Statlander and Shida with a double team backbreaker! Ford runs Statlander out of the ring and now Britt and Shida are alone again. Britt avoids an enziguri, hits the ropes and there’s the Slingblade! She wants Lockjaw but Statlander hooks her by the nose to pull her free! Hoists her onto her shoulders, but Ford stops her with a pump kick and Britt turns this into a DDT to Statlander, Ford covers her for a nearfall! Britt with a big kick to Ford and then sends Statlander careening headlong into a turnbuckle!
Britt pulls her to the center of the ring and grinds a boot into her face, cover for a 2 count. Hikaru Shida pulls Britt to the floor and throws her into the barrier. Ford tries a Springboard Poison Rana but Statlander turns that into a Facebuster! Cover but it’s broken up. Shida pulls Britt Baker up to the top rope, hooks her for a superplex. Statlander underneath and we get a CRUNCHING tower spot! Ford up top but Kris just yanks her from the top and tosses her onto the pile! Shida with a rising knee strike to the face of Statlander and now all four of them are down! Commercial break.
As we come back, Statlander wants Big Bang Theory but Baker with a superkick to the back of the head forces her into a sunset flip, but a follow-up Meteora to Shida breaks it up! This gets a nearfall! She pulls Statlander up and gets a Canadian Destroyer! But she can’t make the cover, Ford with a Lethal Injection, Shida breaks up the pin! Hikaru pulls her up, wants the Falcon Arrow but Ford escapes, Matrix dodges a clothesline for the Stunner! Britt Baker with a Corkscrew Neckbreaker! Statlander pulls her up and hits a spinning Falcon Arrow, damn she’s strong! Shida trips Kris into the corner, snap suplex sends Ford right on top of her! Shida with a whip, Kris walks up the ropes and flips behind Shida but eats a superkick! Shida takes her and Britt to the floor, Ford surprises Shida with a missile dropkick for a clooose nearfall!
Sabian hooks Shida by the arms, Ford charges, HIkaru evades… Ford and Sabian just kiss. Shida dropkicks Sabian off the apron and rolls Ford up for a nearfall! There’s the Falcon Arrow! Statlander breaks it up! Kris pulls Ford to her feet, and looking for an Electric Chair – FORD WITH A WILD POSION RANA! That was a scary one. Britt pulls Statlander out of the ring, Shida hoists Ford onto her shoulders and flips her into a backbreaker! On the outside, Baker has the Lockjaw on Statlander – but in the ring, Hikaru Shida nails a shining wizard on Ford to get the victory!
Winner: Hikaru Shida
Even as Shida celebrates, Britt still has the Lockjaw cinched in on Statlander, she is just destroying her.
