While WWE was very clear on who got let go from the WWE main roster, the cuts from NXT have been slowly revealed over time. These were done more quietly and behind the scenes, and have included names like Taynara Conti, Aleksandar Jaksic and Deonnna Purrazzo. Another name has now become clear, and it was another very promising but underused member of the NXT Women’s Division. Going under the ringname of Rachael Evers, the daughter of legendary manager Paul Ellering had spent a few years off and on within WWE. She would have a shot in the 2018 Mae Young Classic (losing to Hiroyo Matsumoto in the first round), and have two separate developmental deals, but nothing ever came of either. She has now revealed that she is no longer with WWE. What is next for Rachael Ellering?
A Familiar Way To Announce Her Release
Taking to Twitter to let her fans know what is going on, we would see a video of a google search of ‘Racheal Evers’ bringing up no results, before a clip show of her losing match after match would play. Then a search of ‘Rachael Ellering would bring up clips of her absolutely kicking ass all over the world, from the United Kingdom to Japan. This was the same approach used by the man formerly known as Kassius Ohno in WWE. Ellering & Hero are a couple outside of the ring, and them using the same approach to announce their news can’t be coincidence.
Rachael Ellering Is Another Technical Marvel
Being a graduate of the Storm Wrestling Academy and having The Wrestling Genius as her significant other, it is no surprise to anyone that Ellering is an absolute treat to watch in the ring. Combine in her status as a second generation talent, and it is very shocking WWE couldn’t find a role for her. Any women’s division around the world today would be able to excel with a talent like Ellering among their ranks, and alongside Purrazzo, she will be a very hot free agent once she enters that market. Ring Of Honor are looking to revamp their Women Of Honor division, Impact Wrestling have their competitive Knockouts Division, and AEW have the second best division in America. Ellering would be a perfect fit with any of these, and her next move will be one to watch.
