Johnny Gargano has had a new attitude ever since he proved he was the better man of #DIY when he beat Tomassao Ciampa in their final encounter. Since then, his ego has been through the roof as the once of heart of NXT has become more arrogant than peak Miz. He would cut a promo on the way to the ring, insulting the NXT stars in the crowd, saying the Gargano Way will improve NXT for the better of everyone here.
He would say tonight would be the first ever Johnny Gargano Invitational, a young star of NXT would get their chance to face the best in NXT history. They would choose Adrian Alanis, not Adrian Adonis like orignally read by Gargano. A man known for his exploits in Evolve Wrestling, would Alanis be able to shut Gargano up?
The First Ever Johnny Gargano Invitational
Gargano would extend a hand for a show of sportsmanship, with him then throwing a hard elbow into the head of Alanis before stomping him into the mat. He would tell Candice LeRae to start the car, as this wouldn’t take long before turning to a big right hand to his face. Alanis would run right into a superkick, leveling him as the sound echoed throughout Full Sail. A pissed off Gargano would force his opponent into the Gargano Escape for a quick victory. He would hold the submission on for a few extra seconds to add insult to injury before shoving Alanis out of the ring.
Mia Yim & Keith Lee Make Fun Of The Garganos
His victory celebration would be interrupted by Mia Yim & Keith Lee adoring the picture of Yim introducing her boot to the face of Gargano just last week on NXT. They would sit down for dinner, before Lee introduced the centerpiece of the table, a vase of plastic flowers. They were cheap, trashy, and repulsive, just like Johnny Gargano & Candice LeRae themselves. Making further fun of the editting of their vignettes, Yim would mock LeRae while Keith Lee sat confused on what was going on, as any rational person would if someone cut a dramatic black and white promo at the dinner table.
Urging him to try it, Keith Lee would be blinded by the flashlight, before doing the same at the expense of Gargano. They ordered takeout from Garganos Pizza, which was delivered by Tegan Nox who at 95% of the pizza on the ride over.
