CBS “The Bold and the Beautiful” Spoilers here with a new throwback spoiler to get us ready for our middle of the week helping of B&B. One thing we’ve grown accustomed to us how the wedding on B&B are always so opulent and extravagant. They spare no expense to give the characters, actors, and us the best experience possible. It’s a happy time despite the repetitive nature of the events, but it also shows their creativity for coming up with so many locations, sets, and storylines to get us to this point.
It’s become a norm for us to expect and Princess Diana type of ceremony when the Forresters or anyone, really, has a wedding.

But that all changed on September 14, 2015 when Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Caroline Spencer (Lindsey Godfrey) decide to take a walk in causal wedding dress in Malibu.
CBS “The Bold and the Beautiful” Spoilers don’t believe the hype that they just went for a walk, but who are we to question?
This is one of the sweetest episodes we’ve seen as Ridge and Caroline find a way to make their dream come true, and the scenery is pretty amazing as well. If there’s a couple of good things about Los Angeles, it’s their beaches and hiking trails.
Not another beach wedding
Given how the show takes place in Los Angeles, it’s a give that just about every special moment has to happen on a beach, yacht, or other exotic location. It’s expected, but this one took a whole different angle few if any of us expected.
On their walk, Ridge and Caroline wanted to make this moment perfect and one to remember for all time. It’s not unexpected as we all love to remember these moments. It’s only natural.
Of course, there’s a small problem in them making this moment one to remember — they’re all alone.
To solve that, Ridge asks Caroline if he should call Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) to marry them. But then he also proposes another idea that keeps things even simpler and romantic. His idea is that they marry themselves and then go to city hall to sign the proper papers to make it legal.
Caroline agreed, and in a tender moment, they professed their love for each other and Ridge pronounced them husband and wife.
This was a really cool way for them to express their love for one another and have a small wedding that’d work for a lot of people.
