Many people in the United States are growing tired of hearing about the story of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle leaving the Royal Family and all the events that have happened after that.
The US Has Become Fed Up Of Harry And Meghan’s Moaning-‘Is That All There Is,’ Says Royal Expert Sandro Monetti
That is according to royal expert Sandro Monetti. In their Netflix documentary series, the Sussexes presented a myriad of startling disclosures and proclamations that only strengthened the broken bond between them and the Royal Family.
Even though Harry and Meghan have voiced their disapproval, a large number of people in the United States still admire the Royal Family.
In his comments, Sandro said: “There is still, despite how many word bombs Harry and Meghan lob across the ocean, a lot of affection for the institution in the US and I feel it.
“Many expats living here feel it as well. One reality show can’t ruin that.” With that being said, the chances of the Sussexes changing that perception entirely are slim.
And yet, Harry’s upcoming tell-all memoir will provide an opportunity to do just that. It is set to come out in the New Year, with question marks over how damning it could be towards the current monarchy.
Regardless of what the case may be, it appears that the US is not keen on finding out. Sandro’s following comments confirmed as much: “In many ways, this TV show was like a criminal prosecution if you never heard from the defence.
“But it’s a narrative that the American public appears to be tired of, at least from my experience and conversations. ‘Is that all there is? Is this it?”
The response on social media was much the same. Large numbers of people felt the Sussexes should be putting more effort into rebranding themselves away from the firm, rather than continuing to criticise them.
One person wrote: “I’m in America, too. I’m tired of seeing them everywhere. Not everyone likes or admires them. They disrespected an entire country.”
