We’re halfway through Romance Week, and it looks like things are heating up according to CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers’ throwback spoilers. Originally airing on May 16, 2005, this one has plenty of plotting, but not in a bad way for once. In fact, it’s a pretty relaxing episodes aside from a few moments and storylines, but we can’t ruin everyone’s fun, right? After all, those that haven’t seen it may enjoy the balance it offers.
But CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers aren’t completely heartless, so let’s get this show on the road. Remember to keep feet and arms inside the ride at all times. And… we’re off!
Getting out of the doghouse
Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) is a great lawyer and skilled at getting his way. But even he can push too hard on something, and this time he’s managed to upset Lauren Fenmore (Tracey Baldwin).
In this case, we’ll chalk it up to him wanting to surprise her. What’d he do? Oh, he stopped talking to her. After a while, Lauren gave up and her mood toward his soured, but he managed to finagle her into agreeing to indulge in his fantasies for an hour, give or take. She agreed, and eventually returned wearing a beautiful dress.
Now ready, they headed out. When they arrived at the Colonnade Room, everything seemed unchanged until they walked inside. Michael had pulled a few strings to have the interior switched to a private casino for the two of them.
Lauren’s mood started to brighten as they danced and drank champagne, but it was when she started winning at blackjack that she really became happy. It was around this time that the next part of Michael’s plan went into effect, as the casino dealer turned Lauren’s cards over. On the other side “Marry Me” was written plain as day for her to see. Will she accept?
Roomie surprise
It’s never easy when we follow the advice of someone we trusted, only to question if we did the right thing or not. This is the problem Mackenzie Browning (Rachel Kimsey) had when it came to trusting her grandmother, Katherine Chancellor (Jeanne Cooper). It’s during this moment of reflection that J.T. Hellstrom (Thad Luckinbill) chose to call her.
After exchanging pleasantries, he told her that a new roommate had moved in and she had invited him to go to Mexico with her. Mac didn’t have much of a chance to recover before J.T. hit her with additional news, claiming she needed to go to their apartment and get her things immediately.
Ouch.
While grumbling about how J.T. was a bigger jerk than she thought he was, she headed out to pack up her things. Talk about awkward.
When she arrived, she found J.T. having a party while wearing a Mexican hat and making tacos and margaritas. She declined any when they were offered to her and asked where his roommate was.
Coming clean and basically admitting he tricked her, J.T. admitted that no one was coming and the party was for her.
Not too shabby, even if it tortured the crap out of her. CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers are sure they looked back on this and laughed while Mac planned how to kill him if he ever did it again.
