With Slammiversay just over three weeks away, Impact Wrestling is chugging along, picking up speed as the card is forming and the mystery of a returning former world champion is dangled in front of us like a tasty carrot.
Tasha Steelz (with Kiera Hogan) vs. Nevaeh (with Havok)
Nothing like opening with a bang, and we got one as Nevaeh (with Havok) faced Tasha Steelz (with Kiera Hogan}. This is chapter two of a good looking rivalry between the foursome, not to mention an awesome collection of talent. I’ve said before that Impact’s Knockout Division is stacked, and I stand by that. They’re looking like the best one in professional wrestling at the moment, and Impact is showcasing them perfectly.
The was Nevaeh’s second match since signing with Impact, and she didn’t disappoint as she dominated the match, only to have Kiera Hogan distract her at key moments to give Steelz a chance to regroup and try to turn the tide.
The third time was the charm, as Hogan distracted Nevaeh a final time and was finally chased off by Havok, but the damage was done. Steelz rolled Nevaeh up for the pin, then got out of the ring as fast as she could.

Building a rivalry
While Steelz added the win to her resume, it left a not very happy Nevaeh and Havok in the ring, and things should only get more interesting as these four continue to clash up to a possible match at Slammiversary.
This also moves us one step closer to potentially having the Knockouts Tag Team Championship reactivated, which could be another reason for these four to be building a feud that so far as been full of great hard hitting wrestling and a great rivalry as Steelz and Hogan continue to prove they’re not afraid of Havok and Nevaeh, at least not as long as they can outsmart and outmaneuver them.
But at some point, Havok and Nevaeh will get their hands on them and that’s when Steelz and Hogan will get to show us what they have.
The last few weeks, Impact has pushed their new Knockouts division and we’ve been give some great matches that should only get better as they develop better chemistry and push each other to improve for the sake of the show. It’s been fun seeing the division grow so much over a short period of time, and they’re doing it with a mix of established Indie stars. Many of them have worked together in the past in one way or another, and it shows. This is going to be a fun ride.
