This week on NXT, after weeks of mocking, Mia Yim would finally have a chance to get her hands on ‘The Poison Pixie’ Candice LeRae. Would the Gargano way make it easy for her to defeat Mia Yim?
Candice LeRae Strikes Fast
Before the bell could even ring, LeRae would dive into Yim and beat her down in the corner. With the match offically in play, a shoulder tackle and some offense from Yim would give her control in the match, peaking with a Penalty Kick to the back of LeRae. This would cause LeRae to flee to the outside, where Yim would yank her back into the ring in a Full Nelson. LeRae would escape and go back to her aggressive offense, beating Yim down and dropping a senton on her back for near fall. Two more sentons would be followed by another near fall, but it takes more than that to drop Yim. LeRae would pull at the hair of Yim, who would power out, slam LeRae into the corner and deliver a cannonball senton.
A Vicious Brawl On The Outside
LeRae would send Yim into the corner with a Violence Party, but a Forearm Smash from Yim would send her to the outside. Yim would pick up a grounded LeRae and send her headfirst into the barricade. They would continue to brawl on the outside until the referee got to a ten count.
Yim would look to powerbomb LeRae at the top of the stage, but would instead be sent into the LED boards causing a malfunction. LeRae would rain down forearms on Yim which would prompt Tegan Nox to come stop her. However, Dakota Kai & Raquel Gonzalez would come quickly behind with Kai instantly kicking Yim in the in head as Raquel went after Nox. At some point during this, Shotzi Blackheart also emerged from the back and threw Kai off the stage. Needless to say, this was complete chaos and if this was Monday Night RAW, it would be restarted as a 6 woman tag match.
Referees would remove everyone but Yim and LeRae, as Yim would rush back in with another forearm. Johnny Gargano would come to the aid of his wife, who would rush down Yim again. Keith Lee would make his presence known, and it would become clear what the next match on the night will be.
