Indus Sher (Rinku & Sarouv) are set for huge things in the NXT Tag Team division. Two Indian powerhouses lead by the brilliant Malcolm Bivens, they look to be the second coming of the Authors Of Pain. They’re back in action after their debut earlier this year, facing down some hopefulls from the WWE performance center.
Indus Sher Delievers A True Squash Match Experience
The bell would ring, and Saurav would run in hit a huge boot to Mike Delbray, knocking him senseless instantly. Mike Reed would be kicked off the apron quick, and Rinku would be tagged in before being run through Delbray. Saurav would come in again after a quick tag, they would hit a tandem elbow drop/backbreaker combo, and it would be over before it even really began. Zero offense from their opponents, this won was a complete win for this tag team.
Imperium Need To Watch Out
While Breezango might be the next contenders for the NXT Tag Team championships, currently held by Fabian Aichner & Marcel Bartel of Imperium, Indus Sher will not be far behind. They are not the first heavyweight tag team in NXT, and the track record of dominiance on the way to the tag team titles is well proven. We’ve seen it with The Ascension, we’ve seen it with Authors Of Pain and we’ve seen it with Sanity. Teams like #DIY & Undisputed Era brought a junior heavyweight flair to the titles which stands true with Imperium, but that might not last much longer. The powerhouse style might take over the titles again.
While we don’t quite know what they are capable of yet in a longer match, they clearly know how to take advantage of a quick start to overwhelm their opponents. This startegy won’t work forever, but Bivens could be key in helping them adapt and overcome. He’s a great manager, and NXT will soon know this. He might not be on the level of Paul Ellering who lead The Authors Of Pain to the championships, but we can’t all come in as legends, but everyone starts somewhere.
