After the commercial break, Triple H talks about how the Undertaker’s loyalty to the business was never in question. He decicated his life to his life. Shawn Michaels said you can’t help but respect Taker for continuing to perform in such a methodical way throughout his career.
Eight Man Tag Team Match
New Day (Kofi Kingston and Big E) and Lucha House Party (Gran Metalik and Lince Dorado) vs. Cesaro and Shunsuke Nakamura and The Miz and Morrison.
The match started with some impressive moves like Big E hitting Miz with a splash on the apron. Not sure I saw that before. Dorado’s athleticism worked well against Cesaro, but Gran Metalik wasn’t so lucky.
Nakamura took Kingston to task outside the ring, then tagged in Cesarro. The pair double teams Kingston and mocked their opponents as we went to commercial.
After commercial break, Miz and Morrison continue dominating Kingston.
The heels are definitely working better together than the faces, but Kingston buys himself some breathing room with a big stomp on Nakamura, the tagged in Metalik while Nakamura tagged in Morrison.
After Miz broke up a pin on Morrison, the teams paired off as New Day and Nakamura and Cesaro fought their way to the backstage area.
Dorado hurricanranas Morrison off the apron, and Gran Metalik hit Miz with an elbow drop from walking the ropes for the win.
Backstage, Corbin is interviewed about his commentators and Jeff hardy’s comments. As is par for the course lately, Corbin brought up Jeff’s past and said he needed to learn to show respect and mocked the Undertaker by saying Jeff with “Rest in Peace.”
Strowman was shown walking backstage, so we should hear his response to Bray Wyatt after the commercial break.
Strowman Responds
A brief recap of last week’s exchange between Strowman and Wyatt is shown, and we’re shown a pretty awesome looking entrance video and music for Strowman of a train breaking through boundaries.
Strowman talks about how he felt fear when he first met Wyatt, and how one night they were sitting at the swamp, a water moccasin exited the water and slithered toward Wyatt’s lantern.
Wyatt wouldn’t let him kill it, and he walked over to if and got on the ground nose to nose with it. The snake bit him repeatedly in the face and Wyatt just laughed. At that moment, Strowman realized Bray Wyatt was the true serpent.
He admits to loving every second of doing the devil’s work, and part of him still does. He’s tried to lock that part of him away, and he doesn’t know where it comes from.
He challenged Wyatt to return to the swamp with him to finish things at Extreme Rules.
Strowman ended the segment looking terrifying and laughing along with Wyatt’s laughter. Talk about spine chilling.
