CBS “The Bold and the Beautiful” Spoilers here with a throwback spoiler that looks like it’s going to be a fun one to watch. The Siren, Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang), has had her share of ups and downs, mostly her own fault, but this is the granddaddy of them all.
She not only slept with her daughter’s husband, but she managed to get pregnant by him, too. Thanks to Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery), Brooke nearly made it through with her secret. They hadn’t thought of the idiocy of Bridget’s husband, Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan), and his desire to continually profess his love for Brooke throughout her pregnancy.
Thanks to Deacon’s Darwin Award winning efforts, Bridget Forrester (Jennifer Finnigan) learned of their betrayal by way of overhearing them over a baby monitor. Worse yet, it was after Brooke’s baby shower that Bridget had thrown for her.
Talk about fun times, and it all comes to fruition in this episode from June 28, 2002.

Confronting mommy dearest
To see things closed, Stephanie drove Bridget to the Big Bear cabin for her to confront Brooke.
In a heartbreaking scene, Bridget demanded to know how many times Brooke and Deacon were together, but Brooke’s only response was to say how much she loved Bridget. Even when Bridget told her by sleeping with Deacon Brooke had thrown her away, Brooke didn’t stop trying. She even grabbed Bridget’s hand when she tried to leave and continued to plead with her.
At this point, Stephanie had grown concerned and headed into the cabin where she found Brooke hanging on for dear life. Stephanie ordered her to let Bridget go, and she did. Once they were alone, Brooke told Stephanie she was in labor. Was it the truth, or was she trying to gain some favor? Looks like we’ll have to dig up the following episodes to find out.
An interesting note in the baby Brooke carried ended up being Hope Logan (Annika Noelle). In an interesting twist, Brooke managed to have sex with Hope’s boyfriend at the party he threw for Hope to celebrate her high school graduation.
This is one family tree CBS “The Bold and the Beautiful” Spoilers ae more than happy not to have to organize. It would be one interesting mess.
It’s also interesting to note that Brooke and Bridget eventually made up, but it brings up a curious question about how Bridget seemed to treat her mother rather gently after everyone saw the video of her kissing Bill Spencer (Don Diamont). Some people always find a way out of trouble, don’t they?
