CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers here and we’re all set with some throwback spoilers for what looks like a fun and interesting episode coming up.
These older shows (older than twenty years) have a certain quality about them that goes beyond nostalgia, though that plays a big part in them.
They allow us to revisit old memories and see some of our favorites in action once again. It’s like having an old friend drop by to see us and they brought cake. Gotta have the cake, right?
It’s one of the things that have helped make these shows so popular over the years. There are few things better than visiting old friends, and nothing is better than celebrating with them.
This treasure comes to us from March 12, 1993, and we join Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John) and Drucilla Winters (Victoria Rowell) at their wedding or the celebration afterwards.
We’ll also witness the beginning of the end of Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc)’s first run, ie his last days before he goes to prison. It’s a fun little plot of revenge on Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) that blew up in his face.
The uncertainty of knowing what to expect is what makes these old episodes so special. With a lack of recaps and videos available online, we get to go into them fresh and clean, even if we saw them before.
Marital bliss
CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers love the occasional wedding as it breaks up the intense drama and subterfuge that often permeates the show. It’s refreshing and draws us in so we feel like we’re part of the celebration.
But due to the lack of information, we’re not sure if this episode part of their wedding or if it’s the following celebration. To be honest, it doesn’t really matter as it’s going to be awesome either way.
Nothing beats relaxing and celebrating with friends and family, even if they are the television variety.
Michael’s plot
Michael had all sorts of self-inflicted problems around this time, and if CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers are judging the time right, this will be after he lost his job and wife and blamed Christine for it.
Since Christine had a hand in that, he decided to worm his way into his ex-wife’s apartment, then dug his way into Christine’s where he waited in the closet.
His plan was simple. He’d wait for Christine to come in and then attack and kill her. Sounds easy enough.
Should be interesting if we get to see the following episode at some point.
