This has been rumoured for a while but now looking at some of the factions in AEW now. It started to look like they’re nearly ready for a Triple Tag Team belt. Even though other companies have done the Triple Tag Team belts before like ROH it never seems that much of a big deal in really any company. Could AEW be one of the first to make the Triple Tag Team championship meaningful? With them making the Tag Team championship seem one of the most meaningful in the whole company. Unlike some other companies *cough cough* (WWE). That hardly takes it seriously and has no story to it and changes the championship a lot of time through the year.
The faction that would fit nicely into the Triple Tag Team format.
A lot of factions in AEW seem tailor-made for the Triple Tag Team champions. With groups like the Best Friends putting Orange Cassidy into the group. Death Tringle being introduced into the mix recently then there’s Jurassic Express and SCU. That’s not all though, as The Elite and the Inner Circle could easily bring in three of the members and make a team. There’s also the Dark Order, the tease of the Four Horsemen and even the Gun Club. All these teams could take part in the fight for the championship.
Who could be the first Triple Tag Team champions of AEW?
There are too many to pick from, who could be the first. Even if they’re planning on bringing a Triple Tag Team championship. They would need a very good feud to build up the championship. Maybe this could be the championship the Four Horsemen have before they have the 4th member Vs. the Elite featuring the last three members of the Elite after Hangman finally leaves Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks. Even though it should really be an existing three-member faction, you can’t argue that wouldn’t be a good match.
