Last week, we saw Bianca Belair face and defeat one half of The Iconics, that being Billie Kay. This week, she gets to face the other half, that being Peyton Royce. Peyton is always considered to be the workhorse of the team, and being trained by Lance Storm? It makes sense. She’s a fantastic technical wrestler, and one of the best in the division overall. But can she beat the EST Of Main Event, the undefeated Belair? With Kay in her corner, anything is possible.
Fantastic Display Of Women’s Wrestling
Belair would be ready to go as soon as the bell rang, her confidence showing. She’d go for the lockup, but Royce slipped away before flexing on her opponent. Again, Belair would go for a lockup, with Royce rolling out of the way. When Belair finally caught her, she got her into the corner real quick with her power advantage. However, Royce slipped out but would be caught with a slam.
A shoulder block would drop Royce again, then a hip toss after a brief stand-off. After a quick distraction from Kay, Royce hit a knee to gain brief control, but Belair would counter a toss into the corner by jumping onto the middle rope, and then launching over Royce to drop her with another shoulder block, this time sending her to the outside for a breather and pep talk. Belair made her way to the outside, only to be pulled into the ring post.
Bianca Belair Makes The Comeback
Now with a target, that being the left arm, Royce would be dangerous. He’s stretch and twist the arm, being relentless in her attack. If you only have one arm, you don’t have a power advantage. However, Belair often finds her way out of these situations, as her opponents can’t put her away. This was the case once again, as she would break free of the Surfboard Stretch, and hit some lariats with her right arm. A dropkick would have Royce on the ropes again, and she’d just need to maintain control.
However, all it takes is attacking the arm once to regain control for Peyton, and she did so with glee. She’d stretch the arm over the top rope, before diving down onto the shoulder with a double stomp, but didn’t go for the extended arm which could have ended this. Belair would manage to get Royce up for the Glam Slam, but Royce would roll her up for a quick near fal. Trying for her own pin, Belair would go for an O’Conners Roll, and when Royce shoved her off, Belair would take a loud Kay off the apron. She’d dodge a spinning back kick from Royce, hit the Glam Slam into the corner, and hit the Kiss of Death to get the win.
How long will it take for Belair to find her way to Monday Night RAW to challenge Asuka? She’s been getting win after win, beating all those set before her. Maybe if she beats The Iconics in a handicap match, she’d finally get the chance she needs. Do you think she’ll ever be able to challenge Asuka?
