WWE NXT Great American Bash Results: Mia Yim vs. Candice LeRae

The rulebook has been thrown out for this one, as Mia Yim & Candice LeRae look to end their feud once and for all. Keith Lee proved he was better than Johnny Gargano, beating him twice in title defenses for the NXT North American Championship, and now LeRae is looking to get a win for the Gargano household.

She’s one of the most hardcore ladies in NXT, and it’s not hard to find footage of her in intergender bloodbaths from her time on the indies. But Yim is just as ready in his category, given her intense feud with Rosemary from Impact Wrestling which saw her become very familiar with weapons. Who would walk away from a street fight?

Mia Yim Didn’t Waste A Second

Before LeRae could even make her way to the ring, Yim would attack her from behind. She would throw her in the ring before sending an armory worth of weapons in the ring. Kendo sticks, chairs, trash cans and more. LeRae would grab a kendo stick and attack Yim with it, before Yim just grabbbed the stick, took it away, and hit LeRae back twice as hard.

Yim would introduce a table into the match, giving LeRae time to recover. She’d dropkick Yim through the ropes to earn more time, and set the table up in the corner of the ring. Dragging Yim back into the ring, she’d look to Suplex her through the table, but this would be countered. A dragon suplex attempt from Yim would also be dashed, with LeRae going for a roll up. LeRae slipped to the outside, and would throw Yim into the ring post before going for the beatdown. After being pulled into the post a few times, Yim would counter and do the same to LeRae.

This Is Not Staying At Ringside

This match would make its way into the crowd, and Yim would beat LeRae with a plate, and this would just get nasty. A catering table would come into the play, and they’d go to a raised platform nearby. LeRae would be sent off, but a blast from a fire extingusher would take Yim’s breath away. The suplex attempt would be fought off, and Yim would dropkick LeRae though the table.

During the break, Yim would pull LeRae back to the ring to go for the pinfall, but she’d have ample time to recover. Yim would attack with a kendo stick, but LeRae blocked with a steel chair. The chair would be set up, and LeRae would drop her opponent face first into it. Yim would use the chair to get vertical, but LeRae ran in with a dropkick. LeRae would drive a steel chair into the injured ribs, punishing Yim before looking under the ring for more chairs.

    Candice LeRae Is Hardcore

Beating Yim back down with a trash can lid, LeRae would adjust the table across the ropes in the corner. Yim countered the suplex attempt, but would be unable to regain control. A huge roundhouse kick would drop LeRae, but Yim fell out of exhaustion. A lariat into the corner would be followed by Yim putting the garbage can over the head of LeRae, before kicking it and running in with a cannon ball, but it only got a two count.

Yim apparently raided the office of William Regal and had some brass knuckles, but LeRae blocked the punch with a steel chair. She’d bury Yim in chairs before climbing up to the top rope, wanting to jump off the table. A quick shot from Yim would stagger LeRae, and they’d both climb onto the table. It wobbled madly, and LeRae would hit a diving swinging neckbreaker off the table, onto the pile of chairs. LeRae would get an arm over Yim, and get the win.

Neither of these women are leaving this match in good health. This was brutal to say the least, and neither of them held anything back. They showed just how good they are, but in the end, LeRae was better. Do you think this feud is over? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
