Some enter the ring with the intent to win, others enter the prove something. On this night, Oney Lorcan & Timothy Thatcher will look to prove they’re the toughest SOB in all of NXT. Lorcan was the one who asked for this match on Twitter, threatening to attack the entire roster for a chance at Tim. Would he regret this move?

The entrances did not take long, as both men marched down the ramp ready for battle. As soon as the bell rang, they’d feel each other out, with Lorcan shoving Thatcher into the corner. He’d apply a double wrist lock, but Thatcher quickly broke out. A hard chop from Lorcan would just annoy Thatcher, who would would use his submission mastery to earn control. Applying a bow and arrow hold, Lorcan would roll out and hit two more chops. He’d take Thatcher back down to the mat for a wrist lock, who tried to lift Lorcan with one arm, and failing.
Somehow, Thatcher would escape and get the advantage, looking for an armbar on Lorcan. Lorcan fought hard to prevent this, but a bit of ground and pound would open him up. The armbar would still be fought off, but Thatcher soon caught a double wrist lock. This was some of the best wrestling seen on WWE recently, with both men evenly matched. The training from Lance Storm ensured Lorcan is ready for this style of match.

Coming back from the break. Lorcan would be suplexed across the ring, landing hard on the arm. He’d slip the outside, and Thatcher would look to suplex him back in, but Lorcan slipped over the top and hit the half & half suplex before nailing a huge running uppercut for a near fall.

Lorcan would sinch in the single leg crab, but Thatcher would counter out into a knee lock in the middle of the ring.
