We are now on the road to NXT Takeover 30, and each episode of NXT makes the scene for this major show even clearer. We only know what one match on the show will be, but there are a few that are very likely. This week’s edition of NXT will make things even more clear. Let’s take a quick look at what has been announced!

Another Qualifying Triple Threat Match

The one match we know of for sure at NXT Takeover 30 is a ladder match for the now vacant NXT North American Championship. Last week, Bronson Reed defeated Johnny Gargano & Roderick Strong to make his way into the match, and this week we get another qualifying match. Finn Balor, Timothy Thatcher, and Dexter Lumis will go to war to try to get into what could be a career changing match.

All three men are on a roll as of late, and would all fit well into the carnage of a ladder match. I can personally see Lumis or Thatcher making it through, as Reed starts a trend of fresh faces getting their big chance in this ladder match. Last week’s Triple Threat was incredible though, and this one should be the same.

Roderick Strong vs. Johnny Gargano

Speaking of last week’s Triple Threat match, the two men who ended up on the losing side will clash again this week. This was spawned out of a spat on Twitter between both men, and NXT GM William Regal deciding to bring this huge singles match to TV. They’ve only met one other time in a singles match, this being from back in April 2019.

Give these two twenty minutes in the ring, and you’ll have an NXT Takeover main event level match. You can’t put too much praise on the in ring abilities of either man, and this will be one of, if not the best match of the week.

Keith Lee Addresses Karrion Kross

While we only have one confirmed match for NXT Takeover 30, that won’t stay the same after tonight. Last week, Karrion Kross tried to end the career of Dominic Dijakovic, while Keith Lee watched from ringside. It was a brutal beatdown, perhaps the most brutal we have ever seen on NXT TV before.

The NXT Champion was always set to face Karrion Kross during his reign, and that match won’t wait. Lee is not a man to let any challenge go buy him, he’s faced down men like Roman Reigns & Brock Lesnar without fear, and Karrion Kross won’t change that. Tonight, he will address Kross, and the challenge is likely to be laid down.

Also announced for tonight is Jake Atlas vs. Isiah ‘Swerve’ Scott, Shotzi Blackheart vs. Mercedes Martinez, and NXT Tag Team Champions Imperium in action. What are you most looking forward to tonight on NXT? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
